FAG Alphabetization Program
You requested that I change the last name of Saint Clair to just the abbreviated St. Clair, which would be less characters than being spelled out.

However the Find A Grave software program does not place the abbreviated spelling correctly, so I will leave this name spelled out instead of abbreviating.

An example of what happens is, that when the name William is shortened to the perfectly acceptable Wm, as the abbreviated name, Find A Grave will place it alphabetically on W then the letter M as a word.

In the "old" days stone masons would charge by the letter for headstone inscriptions and can answer as to why, there are so many initials on the older stones.

Some people that have had their proper names abbreviated are aware of this same problem in all other woks of life.

Thank You,
A Brewbaker

Thank you for clarifying that, and for your suggestions. Mr. Casey should just delete his memorial as it is a duplicate. The one I posted was first, and I changed the name of the cemetery to the correct one.
Maybe you could suggest to Mr. Casey that his is a duplicate and should be deleted by him. If he doesn't, then Find A Grave will delete it for him, as they do not allow duplicates.
Thank you again for helping to make corrections on Find A Grave. I m=am sure we could all use the help now and again, and I am sure that Find A Grave appreciates it too.

RE: Bounds, Jane Gorden
I corrected the problem. I still believe her memorial that I posted has complete information. She was a close friend as her family is, so my memorial is the one which should remain. I do appreciate the work that you gravers do, but don't you think it is good that a family member or close friend is more appropriate to do their memorial since they actually know them? Yours is a duplicate posted several months later... and only has cemetery information on it, which is very little.

RE: Bounds, Jane Gorden
I would prefer to leave this memorial as it is a much more honorable and personal tribute to a family friend. I know that Joy would agree. Any memorials after this would be considered duplicates. Check the dates. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Photo's added.
New Photographs of the resting place of Helen and Paul Wheeler have been added. I hit a fairly good time when it was not overcast or snowing. It was about 30 degrees, but I located the plot pretty quickly. I did tidy the area up, but they still could use a good cleaning and I can do that in the spring if you like. I have additional pictures if you would like them. Contact me via my e-mail address and I'll send. Feel free to use these photographs as you wish. Happy Holidays.

James...

Rebekah McKissack
would like for you to transfer Rebekah McKissack grave to me. I understand from you there is no way to connect her parents to her unless they are deceased. My wife and I do a lot of genealogy and thought it would be good if there could be some kind of connection to her family. I am her maternal grandfather so at least that would be some sort of family connection. Thanks for all you do and especially for entering her memorial. She has no other family in that area.
