Bio Photo My Friends call me Gal or Galski. I was born in Montana, but now I live in Tacoma, Wa. & I love this site. This all started for me in my 27 years search for my Grandfathers' burial site. Thanks to find a grave, I was able to keep a promise to my mother. The promise was to find his burial spot and place a headstone in his memory. My Granddad, "Isaac Newton Goings", buried in Goodland, Kansas, now has a headstone 93 years after his death. Please visit his Memorial page and maybe you will be inspired to never give up a search. Just type in Isaac Newton Goings to your right.
I would like to give a heart felt thanks to Larry & Sherri Wilkerson for thier help in finding his grave and to John & Judy Bateman who helped us in setting the stone. Thanks ever so much.
Thanks also to everyone who checks into one of my postings -I hope it helps to connect with lost loves ones and members of the family.
I will be happy to add additional information, obits are welcome and I will make corrections to my postings if they are brought to my attention.
Have a great day!

Transfer complete. It was a pleasure to have been able to help. When I "discovered" the Alsask Cemetery, I could not believe there were so many graves with so few memorials and/or photos. I was a good day. It is now as complete as I am able to make it.

Cora Hudson Foust
Gal Clark --

Appreciate the info posted about the Hudson family. I had hit a dead end so your info helps w/identifying the family circle. Thank you for your contribution.

Genealogy guidelines recommend that the source of info be disclosed when sharing info w/the public. The obit you posted appeared Dec 9, 1986 in the DM Register & Tribune. Please consider prefacing the obit w/said info.

A second obituary appeared in the RHT on Feb 23, 1987. It sheds a bit more light on Alice's life. There appears to be a typo in her mother's name. It s/read Cora May (King) Hudson. If interested please post the following text in addition to the existing obit.

Josiah Shelby Vanness #28034688
Hi, Gal. I recently visited the cemetery located in Alsask, Saskatchewan, and photographed all of the headstones and grave markers I could find and am currently uploading these photos to findagrave. I see you created the memorial for Josiah Vanness with much love and attention and thought you might like to know I created a memorial for a Florence E. Vanness who does not appear to be listed on your bio for Josiah. I'm assuming there is a relationship of some sort and wanted to bring this new memorial to your attention. Also noticed there is a George Vaness (notice the spelling of last name) buried at this cemetery.
