|Fred Riegel||RE: Knaub|
Thanks again Linda. I will double check my dates.
Linda; Thank you for the terrific photo's of the Knaub headstones. I really appreciate them, especially in this cold weather...
|Sue Allen||George Chronister|
Thank you for his stone photo.
Yes, I was happy to see that the date for George said 1789 and not 1798 like I had been lead to believe. He makes himself a lot younger in the census records. Hard to say on the father - I even though the mom may have had him with someone else after her husband's death, except he bore the name of his father's father. The other children were born much earlier. Only have an approximate time of death for the father - know he was dead when mom inherited from her father - she was barred the inheritance until hubby was dead - her dad didn't like him and made it clear in his will...

Thank you so much for getting the Shaffer and Dare photos for me. Hope you had a warm day in PA - it was quite nice here in Ohio for graving today also.

Thanks so much for the Photos of gravestones and the church, they are great!
So sorry for the location confussion, hopefully the two sites will be merged together soon.
|PaGenieGirl||location: Old Luthern Stone Church|
This Cemetery is know by many names to me it was always the "Old Stone Church" it is on McClure's Gap Rd, which divides Frankford twp & Middletown twp. near Carlisle, Cumberland Co.
If you look up Salem United Church Cemetery on Find A Grave, there is a map with GPS directions. Also has Photos of the Church.
Thank you, Linda. I appreciate you taking the time to photograph the headstone of the Berkstressers. I am very grateful.
