Question about the Cottons Dale Have you been able to figure out the fact that both Henry William Cotton and his sister Sarah Jane Cotton both have birth dates in April 1855? Were they twins? Henry is listed as being born on April 25, 1855 and Sarah is said to be born on April 21, 1855.
I descend from their sister Martha Ida Cotton McGee.
Qualls Connection Hi Dale, I am Linda Hudson in Cypress, Texas. My great grandmother was Emelia Emeline Qualls -- I think the child of Moses, son of Isham. I think because of errors on census records -- and then there was one time I thought I found her attached to Richard Chelsey Qualls who died during/after the Civil War. I thought for a while Moses just adopted her. So, I am trying to put Emeline "Milley" with the right Qualls family for sure. Any info would be appreciated. Milley is buried about 5 miles from my Mom in Lavaca County, she married Isaac Lee. So, any docs/data -- info you have would have me over the moon. Thank you,
sweeney/davis connection i have a davis reunion in 1955, at the home of Jake n Miss Ada Sweeney, with many sweeneys in attendance.. do you know of a connection between them and Morris Bond Davis family, who is my grandfather
John T & Lina (Hutton) Love Dale, Wanted to let you know that I found one of John & Lina's daughters not listed on their Find A Grave memorial. Fannie Belle Love (1890 - 1958) married Joe Edward Wilbanks (1883-1966) about 1905. They had 4 children: Bessie (1907-1995); Charlie Robert (1908-1986); Roy (1911-2006); and Mary Lois (1924-1936). Fannie, Joe, Roy & his wife, and Mary are all buried in Lutts Cemetery, Lutts, Wayne Tennessee. Fannie's #94425319. I sent a message to the account owner and requested an update and links, but she hasn't responded. I think I have also found Earle Cook Love and her husband Henry H Brown, but I need to check with the cemetery to see if they are buried where I think they are. If so, I will send them to you to link up with John & Lina. VR Wendy McIntosh
