Researching since 1982, mostly on one surname, ADAMSON and partly on FELSBURG |
( http://www.Felsburg.com ).
I have traveled thousands of miles visiting cemeteries and have photographs of Adamson and Felsburg grave markers on my web sites. http://AdamsonAncestry.com.
Also on this site are other useful information on the ADAMSON surname.

Thank you so much for adding the death certificate to this memorial, it answers a lot of my questions. I appreciate you kindness.

Yes, mine was a dupe. I didn't spell her name correctly when I did a search, and missed that the memorial had already been made. I deleted mine, and submitted appropriate edits to update the memorial. Jeanette was my mother's step-daughter.

Thanks for posting the photo of George and Bebe Adamson's headstone. I'm grateful for your help.

Riley Adamson is my great-grandfather. His son Zed, is my grandfather, and Zed's son, Kenneth is my father. I do not have Riley's date of death, but I do know that he was still living as of June, 1900 in Bird Township, Jackson County, AR.
How are you related through the Adamson lineage?
Hopefully, we will be able to help each other find the answers we seek.

Concerning your inquiry if the entries I submitted for Maria Adamson D 1851 and George Adamson 1870 are duplicates?
Yes they are duplicates.
This past winter I contacted Find A Grave as to how to enter burials in the Holy Trinity Cemetery in Hartford, CT. The Catholic Archdiocese of Hartford regards Holy Trinity as a distinct Catholic cemetery. The Land for the cemetery was purchased by the Church in 1839. However the cemetery is surrounded by the Old North Cemetery of Hartford. Over the years the City of Hartford started to maintain the grounds. I think many genealogists are not aware of its history as a separate cemetery.
I asked Find a Grave this winter if I should enter the burials as part of the Old North Cemetery or as a separate cemetery and documentation to show why it should be a separate cemetery. I received no answer (not surprising with all the emails they must receive)!
After waiting many months I created Holy Trinity Cemetery in Find A Grave on 7/19 and entered all the records from the 1934 Hale Inscription Index as burials in Holy Trinity.
Apparently this spring another Find A Grave contributor, Donna Barnes entered the Hale records over a number of months as OLD North Cemetery records.
I will be contacting Donna Barnes as to how to resolve this problem. If needed I will remove my entries.
Great pickup thanks for the notification. How did you note this so quickly if you dot mind me asking?

I saw you inquired about Find A Grave- 142765958 and Find A Grave - 142765896.
142765896 Mary Corson Adamson (b. 6/1792 - d. 8/9/1877) is the mother of 142765958 Charles J. Adamson (d. 12/31/1922).
One grave north of Mary is her husband Charles Adamson (b. 6/1792 d. 8/9/1877).
Their oldest daughter Hannah Adamson Pennypacker (b. 2/7/1820 d. d. 4/25/1894) is on row 1 by her husband Elijah Funk Pennypacker.
7 of there children are interred in rows 1 and 2. There is more but I am not familiar with this website and do not know how far to go.
If you are interested, feel free to PM me.

I am happy you were able to resolve the mystery! I see you are researching this line. If these are relations of yours, please let me know, I would be happy to transfer them to you, as I like memorials to be managed by family members.
I have deleted the memorials you have questioned. When I rechecked online there were indeed at the cemetery you mentioned. You can find them at www.westmanitoba.com/cemetery/rosedale
Thanks for catching it. Have a great day!!

The memorials I added to Rosedale Cemetery in Neepawa were from an online list of the burials there. Unfortunately I just had knee surgery and will not be able to access my downstairs office where all of my records are kept for some time. I will definitely check into the list, where I obtained it from, etc. in a few weeks when I am able to. I hope I will be able to provide you the information you are seeking.
