Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing family research for 15 years. I love finding new information about the family, which is why I became a photo volunteer, to help others with their research.
I am researching the Peck, Renick, Ramsey, Dowdy, Meier, Lewis, Campbell, Basinger, Rogers and many other names.

I was wondering if you could transfer ownership of 51221543 Josephine Funck to me. She is an ancestor and I would like to add her family information. Thanks.

Julia Williamson
I thought that you would like to know that Williamson is Julia's maiden name. She was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Mary P. (Wilson) Williamson. She married John William Haislip February 21, 1904 in Fisk, Butler, Missouri. I know the Betty Hanks book that has a lot of wonderful information, contained an error in this case.

RE: James Hampton
I love genealogy, but it's been so frustrating that I can trace everyone in my family back hundreds of years, but not my Hamptons! I am stuck finding proof of what James' father's name was. If you have been able to find anything that shows his father was Asa, I would love to know! I have heard that name, but can't find anything.

James Hampton
Hi Brenda! This is in reference to #42254227, James Hampton at Stevens Chapel Cemetery. On his page, you have noted "Son of Asa and Delpha Hampton" - can you tell me - was this noted on the gravestone? Who James's father was has stumped me for years, so I would be thrilled if it actually says that info!!! Any info you have would be wonderful. Thank you!!

Diane Collard Howard, Vale cemetery
Hi Brenda,
Yes, Diana is very much alive, just spoke to her on the phone, she had a good laugh about this.
She said she had no idea how her name came to be on the list.
Appreciate you taking her off, and I really appreciate you taking the time to list Vale cemetery.

Diane Collard Howard, Vale cemetery
Hi Brenda,
I was wondering where you got the info for this person, she is my cousin and still living in Poplar Bluff.
Is there a stone at the cemetery?
I havent been there in a couple of years, just thought it was a bit odd.
BTW, thanks for adding a pic of my dads tombstone!

RE: Robinett
I live in California. My father was born in Bernie but most of the family moved to California when he was about 5. Grace and Eura died in California but were buried in Bernie. Grace and Eura's daughter, Nina and her husband stayed behind and took care of the family farm.

RE: Robinett
Minnie Mae was my grandmother's maternal aunt. That would make your Uncle Hershel my grandmother's first cousin. My grandmother told me about the 53 Flint tornado and how it had killed her cousin Hershel, his wife and a couple of his children. My grandmother also told me that after her mother, Grace's mother (Jane Walden Robinett) died when Grace was about 5 years old, she went to live with Aunt Minnie until she (Grace) married. My grandmother said that she often stayed with her Aunt Minnie, who my grandmother called a "fancy lady" (lol). My grandmother passed almost 10 years ago. I wish she was still around ask about this stuff. I did talk to her a lot about the family but it's impossible to get it all.
