'The unexamined life is not worth living'.|
The memorials that I have created here on Find A Grave are those of my family, only. I do not list grave locations of strangers.
Please do not 'lift' 'copy' or take or steal any of my personal photos from my memorials, as they are copyrighted by me. Please do not add additional photos of any sort to my families memorials without my permission.
The headstone and monument photos that I have added to Evergreen, Olivewood, and Riverside National Cemeteries, are yours to take and add to your trees, as this is the sole purpose of my documenting these cemeteries, only to help others.
'And how can the dead, be truly dead, when they live on in the souls of those who are left behind?'

|Gina Florentine||RE: Still incorrect|
I had all the information correct, I thought. When I processed the edit, it gave me the same name twice but with the two women's correct birth and death dates. I'm going to transfer this memorial to you and that way you can add information to it as you find it.
Thanks for all your input

It was my pleasure!

Did it. So far, I've never been afflicted with the heebie-jeebies, maybe just goosebumps a time or two. Thank you ma'am.

|Karen Winfield||RE: Jacob Chesley|
My pleasure, Brigitte -- Yes, it's cool to think of Jacob as a drummer boy. He would have been just a "lad" (a teenager). I have searched for the grave of Jacob's wife but haven't found it. We have cousins in New York who have made the rounds of the cemeteries without success. But, hope springs eternal!
|Gina Florentine||Lena Rossitto|
I added the information about Lena just a few days ago, because another member said it was fact. If you would like I can transfer her to your care, it might make it easier for you to do corrections. I would be happy to do this as you are family and I'm not.
Please let me know
Thank you. I submitted updates for the first memorial and deleted mine.

|Jennifer Thompson||Find a Grave photos|
I am writing a two-volume book on the 8th Indiana. I would like to include photos of the soldiers and their headstones with their biographies. I would like to use some of your photos in the book and will give you credit in the caption for each photo. If you are interested, I can let you know when the book is published.

**blushing**. My apologies for the sideways picture.
It shows correctly on some platforms and sideways on other ones.
|Steve Jones||RE: William Tucker obit|
You are welcome. I found the obit in the Amador Ledger for that year. Makes sense as most of the Tuckers are buried at Sutter Creek.

Thank you very much for fulfilling my request for photos of the graves of James, Janet and Hugh Edmonstone. Looks like a gorgeous day there. Beautiful photos! I appreciate your helpfulness.
