Mary Smith
Sharon,

We found a Mary Smith at Crawford Cemetery but the death date is different. You have death of 1872 but the headstone we found was death date 1875.

Please let me know if you want me to post it anyway.

Thank you,

Faye Moser

RE: Theodore & Vicki Knuts
You're welcome, Sharon!

It was a pleasure to fulfill your photo requests.

As noted on the photo, the cemetery office did not have a record of Theodore's burial. However, his name does appear on the stone.

Wishing you continued success in your research efforts!

Sharon, #47770935

Sorry I posted the wrong photo to your request and it deleted your request.

You will have to re-request it.

My apologies.

RE: John Fiske Headstone
Hi there,I hope you are well. John Fiske was a veteran. Do you know anything about that? I don't mean to be pest. I just find this incredibly interesting. Thx.

RE: John Fiske Headstone
Hi there. My name is Karen. Your very welcome. There are other Fiskes if you would like them to, but many are too weathered to read. May I ask if John Fiskes great grandfather come over on the Mayflower?

the stone is almost unreadable, I almost missed it actually, but i had to trace the indents with my fingers to read it myself. I can always go out and get the info on the stone for you. I am always out that way. just let me know.

RE: Christian Pleam
Have you tried the old German spelling of the surname? Bliehm
A note in the Weaverland cemetery record with Jacob Pleam says "The Pleams lived in this area but their descendants are unknown here."
Also, a note with Rebecca Pleam says "Possibly wife of Jacob Pleam. On Nov. 18, 1912 Rev. Noss and Rev. Benjamin Weaver officiated at her funeral. Brother Benjamin called her Sister Pleam."
Benjamin Weaver was the Mennonite bishop at the time so that would sound like she was a Mennonite but I don't know who Rev. Noss was. That doesn't sound Mennonite.

RE: Christian Pleam
I live an hour from the cemetery but get down that way occasionally. With the plot number we should be able to find it but it may not be legible.

Alonzo Challender
I couldn't find his grave in Hermon, but did find Washington Challender (military) and his wife, Mary E. as well as an unreadable stone next to Mary. Could be his?
