I've lived in the same small town all my life. I'm married and have 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren. Love family research and sharing what I have found|
Just a note: The reason I have so many "memorials managed" is because a friend asked for help maintaining the memorials! Will transfer, if they are not related to myself or my husband.

If I hadn't responded to your thank you message already, you're very welcome! We were vacationing at Hilton Head, and searching for cemeteries and graves always adds a little local interest to trips so, my pleasure.

I'm not quite sure what happened but I did NOT request all the Lathrop Cemetery transfers you sent me earlier today! I suspect you just want me to have them, right? Please let me know as I want to make sure we are communicating well.
Another item: Re the Douglass couple you mentioned in your message that is part of your family: are you aware there is a baby buried in Bethel Cemetery that is very likely their baby? Deb is managing the memorial and wanted me to take it, but the initials of the parents don't match any of my Douglass family, but they do match your Douglass family couple. So maybe you could ask Deb to transfer it to you, she seems to be in a transferring mood!
Thank you and hope you will help me understand why you transferred all those Douglass' in Lathrop Cemetery to me.

Thank You so very much for attempting to fulfill my request for a photo of George Shelton.
I have added a note to the Memorial.
Your time and effort are GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
|Vicki Edwards||Thank You - All those Douglass Family Edits|
Thank you for processing the many edits I sent yesterday for this family. I also just found the incorporated edits for the 2 sets I sent you today when I discovered I'd not sent them.
FYI: Today I found an old book (online) that shows I am indeed related to this family. But I am pretty distant so am not requesting transfer of the memorials. (I have requested the memorials of the parents who are buried in Bethel Cemetery---Deb manages these---as that husband is the brother of my GGGrandmother, Mary Ann Douglass, that's my connection.)
Thanks again for so quickly incorporating the edits. I feel familiar with the family and now that I know I'm related, it's nice to have a feel for this large family, most of whom lived in Lathrop in the 1800's-early 1900's (and some may still be there!).

#110287470 William "Bill" R Keeling
I asked "Jean" about this memorial, because I could not find a MODC for him, and she transferred the memorial to me. He married my relative Amanda S Hunt(d/o Jesse Hunt & Anna Norris, also buried in this cemetery) Keeling, they married and had 1 son Thomas J Keeling b 1869 Ray Co MO
they are all 3 in the 1870 Ray Co MO census together.
by 1880 William is living in Caldwell Co MO, and is widowed and young Thomas is not with him. I was hoping, maybe Amanda & Thomas have tombstones here with William, but I have been told William does not have a stone...I have been told you are the unofficial "Cemetery Whisperer" :-) for Old Union, any info you can share would be most appreciated! thank you.
