Find A Grave Memorial# 42180248
Margaret,

I have a question on your Find A Grave Memorial# 42180248 for Verdilla Pennypacker. You have her connected as a daughter of Samuel Gresh and Ellen Burden Hummel. Her death certificate says she was the daughter of Samuel Burdan. Samuel Gresh and Ellen Burdan (daughter of Samuel Burdan) married in Feb. of 1848. Ellen and Samuel Gresh did have a daughter Verdilla who appeared in the 1860 census. Samuel Burdan's also had a daughter Verdilla. Samuel Burdan had a son John O. Burdan and in his obituary it says he was survived by a sister Verdilla, wife of Benjamin Pennypacker. Can you tell me anything about your connection of Verdilla Pennypacker wife of Benjamin Pennypacker. I'd like to make certain we have the correct information on the Burdan family tree.

Margaret,
Thank you for your input regarding my GG Grandmother Emma. I have a copy of the death certificate and was aware that it stated Greenmount as the place of burial. I have uploaded a photo of the plot card from Greenwood KOP showing her actual burial there along with her first husband, my GG Grandfather William Irvin(e)who is buried to the left of his parents David and Margaret, As a further note, the two Davids on the right of the plot were both children of my GG Grandparents William and Emma

Hello Margaret,
I was wondering if you would consider transferring the following memorials to me. 45566689, 46264192, 46264203 and 46264058

David d-1889 was my GGG Grandfather and William was my GG Grandfather. The other two David's were my GGG grandfather's sons that passed as children.

Thank you for your consideration.

Earl

Thank you for this Richard Grist memorial. I believe he is my great grandfather. The death cert of his wife Mary lists Knights of Pythias as her place of burial. Do you recall what records you used for his Find A Grave memorial, and if there is any record of Mary Grist who died July 16, 1883 in Philadelphia. Any info you can offer would be greatly appreciated. I was named after the Grist line of our family. Thank you, Phyllis Grist (Weaver) Bickley

RE: Thomas Binns
Thank you very much! The only other information I have on Thomas is that he was born in England (probably Yorkshire), a son of Charles and Harriet (Hainsworth) Binns.

According to "New York Civil War Muster Roll Abstracts, 1861-1900" Thomas was born in England, was 5'8" tall, with a light complexion, grey eyes, and dark hair, and was a farmer.

I'm working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of Co. D, 112th NY Infantry. Could I have your permission to use the picture you posted of Thomas Binns' grave in this compilation? I will cite you as the source.

Thank you.

I'm so embarrassed! Misspelling the first AND last name, clearly written on the marker. Hopefully the rest of my memorials aren't as sloppy, but if you catch anything else, keep the edits coming -- much appreciated!

Adam Edward Konarski
Dear Margaret. Do you know more about Adam Edward Konarski (Kanarski) roots? His polish roots, I mean, his parents, his place of birth. My grandmother's name was Zofia Konarska. I am researching Konarski surname here in Poland - Rypin - Lipno - Golub-Dobrzyn area.
