Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in our family history as a direct result of the avid interest of my mother and oldest sister. My life has become enriched by this desire to know where I came from. Thanks mom and sis!

I truly enjoy Find A Grave and the Find A Grave community; who is so willing to help other researchers!

I am very willing to add to and correct any of the memorials I manage and will do so as quickly as possible. Please help me out by making suggestions through each memorial's EDIT button. This makes it much easier to locate the correct memorial to make the recommended additions and corrections. It will also make certain that I see the request. Requests made through member page messages can get missed.

Thanks much!

Good morning Jenean. Thank you very much for looking into this for me! I really appreciate you taking the time to help "find" James' final resting place. Have a blessed day! Mrs. Laura Evans-Steele.

RE: Goetz in Greenwood
Oh my goodness, thanks very much, Jenean! I'll have to figure out the exact relations to those we don't have in our family tree yet. Thanks again for taking the time to post them all!

Thanks, Jenean, for searching for Lois' headstone. At least you had a beautiful day for it! I will keep the request active for awhile in case you are able to take an overview photo of the area.

Hi Jenean, thanks for the info, the Goetz photo and those to come. I appreciate your generous and thoughtful work on Find a Grave. Someday I hope to visit Monroe and pay respect to the relatives that have gone before us, as well as sample some of the fantastic cheeses (do they still make Huber beer?). Again, thanks for the wonderful work you do!

You shouldn't have
but thank you. The pictures are beautiful (as usual) Jenean ~ and it's absolutely wonderful to be receiving them. I just had to take a peek at all of them before turning in for the night which is now actually 12:45 am on my clock. Thank you again.

RE: Greenwood on Sunday
Brrrrrrrrrrr. You know those golden circles they stick on the weather map, they forecast sunshine :) The dark grey dripping blobs mean stay home 'n wrap up in a blanket. (I did see the old robin with a little son again this morning. They were here for a few minutes last week too, the day before the skies dropped a foot of snow on Greenwood.)

RE: Mary Ann Chandler
No problem, that's kinda what I thought in the first place. Here's what I see with the two markers. There are the two markers, one for MARY ANN CHANDLER in the Park Street Cemetery, and the one for MARION ELY, in the Yantic. If those are the ones who are talking about, are they the same person, two different names, Mary Ann & Marion. I have e-mailed you some documents from Let me know when and if you get them. The document from Connecticut DOES indicate a different first name from what is on the maker (a typo by the stonecutter), it, the document, shows MARY ANN. I also found a BIRTH document for a MARY ANN born in Springfield on 7 April, 1750 and it shows the parents as Nathaniel & Mary, I have sent that as well, look on the left side about halfway down. According to the birth certificate for MARY ANN & the marker for (MARION), it indicates different parentage, unless she was adopted, but let's not get into that, and it would indicate that these are two different people with coincidental dates Scary & confusing, but that's part of the fun & challenge of family research). Let me know what you think. Good luck. Bill P

Hi Jenean. If you are looking for the burial location of Dorothy Backus Chandler, according to the "Connecticut, Hale Cemetery Inscriptions & Newspaper Notices" on, Dorothy IS buried in Yantic Cemetery with her husband James. Hope this helps, if it doesn't let me know. Bill
