Bio and Links
Bio Photo My interest in genealogy came from my late mother's desire to provide a family history for my children and me. Soon after inheriting and transcribing her extensive research, I began to collect information about my husband's family. Our ancestors came from Virginia and North Carolina to Middle Tennessee and finally settled in the western counties of Carroll, Dyer, Gibson, and Weakley.

My mother found her information in worn family Bibles, dusty courthouse basements, and hot country cemeteries long before computers were common. Data was exchanged in letters bearing three-cent stamps, and copying a picture required a trip to a photography studio in another town. Because I know how much she would have enjoyed using today's technology, I am honored to be "Mother's Hands."

Robert and Russell Moore in Hollywood Cemetery
Mother's Hands,
Thank you so very much for the grave photos for brothers Robert and Russell Moore in Hollywood Cemetery. With the information they provided I was able to create memorials for them with more than just a name and dates.

Your bio was very meaningful and I enjoyed reading it and your user name Mother's Hands is very touching.

Thank you again,

We honor each veteran that we know by adding their rank during their service to our Country! It doesn't interfer with finding the person you are looking for but an honor to them.

Gibson County, TN
I noticed on your profile that you have had family in Gibson CO. My grandmother's family is from there and I have had problems trying to find info on them. They were Wilkes, Halliburton, Flowers and Wests. Here is the family cemetery link. If you have any info or suggestions to help in my research, please email them to me. Thanks in advance.
