Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm recently retired and ready to start a new life. I still want to spend time working on Find-a-Grave as I enjoy it but I do plan to spend less time on-line and more time in the world.

I'm caught up to about June 29 correction suggestions but I have the flu so I'm skipping over any of them that require me to think. I'll continue to work on getting caught up - including those I skipped over. Thank you

Many already know that I transfer memorials liberally, but if you didn't know, now you do. If you want all of a particular last name in a cemetery to take on as a personal project to put the pieces together, just let me know. Or if you want everyone in the same plot, I can do that too (as long as they are my memorials). I have plot information for most, not all, of my memorials. I've only denied a transfer request once for my 2nd great grandfather. I'm not related to 99% of my memorials.

Thank you for all of the corrections. I get so many correction requests it's impossible to thank everyone individually. I'll try to stay caught up weekly but may miss that mark occasionally. If you think I've missed your change request, feel free to send me a reminder. I won't be offended.

Newer published obituaries (after 1922) should not be transcribed to avoid copyright infringement - Instead, reference the obituary so others can find it; update the memorial as appropriate with information found; omit names of people who are possibly still living. I hate to see these come in because I know what an effort it is to transcribe them. I won't post a word for word obituary that could be copyright protected. A summary is perfectly fine.

Thank you for all of the updated information!

Please don't leave change or transfer requests on my message board. It's extremely difficult to keep up with these types of requests and I miss most of them. Requests should be made with the edit button on the memorial

Looking for someone interested in translating Latvian historical records. I can't read them but I'm happy to document in English. (I leave this note here to remind me that I have an on-line source for Latvian records that I would love to find the English translation)

Thank you!!!

Eli K Haines who was born In Rockwood, Somerset, PA married 27 Nov 1840 in the Trinity Lutheran Church to Harriet Deitz, who was left a widow before 1870, I beleive the person who died and is buried in Philadelphia is an entirely different person

RE: Otilla's memorial
Thank you for letting me know and I've added the information that she was originally buried at Homewood but re-interred to be her family in 1922. I've also added her year of death. Appreciate all that you do. Hope all is well with you. Cheers my fellow Findagraver! :)
