J - further info to confirm the connection can be found in book that is out of print, written in 1976 or so, about the families around Wilson Creek, WA.
quote: "Ida, the youngest of father's children, was married to John Scott. She brought twins, Ivan and Iva, into the family. She later married Oscar Olney and they now reside in Florence, Oregon."
Grant County (WA) Historical Society reposted around 2011 on their website parts from the book on the story on the Hirschel Family.

Thank you so much for the memorial and marker photo for Agnes Barnett #94597215. Thanks also for your service in the military. Agnes' husband and both sons served in the US Navy as well. I am married her youngest son, who was only 3 years old when she passed. I have some additions for her memorial (photo, dates, links) which I can submit as edits; or if you transfer her memorial to me, I will gladly manage my mother-in-law's memorial. Thank you again, and God bless you!
