Bio and Links
In behalf of Appleby Heritage, I am especially interested in leaving a message and/or a Rose for all Applebys. Through the Appleby website, they are all a part of my family, in reality or of the heart. I have many more roses to leave, yet. These were loving, caring, dear people and I knew many of them personally and/or their children and grandchildren. You are invited to visit the web site at: http://appleby.rootsweb.ancestry.com and perhaps find a bio for one or more of your Appleby family.
Please join me, if you feel so inclined, to add another(Appleby)Rose or a flower of your choice. note, 9/2/2011:The background color on the grave site pages has been changed & I notice the rose does not display very well. I'm considering changing the flower to something more colorful. This is my paternal line.
My love for the ancestral family of Breeses, I will be adding some of the descendents of the John & Dorothy (Riggs) Breese line, primarily through the lineage of Henry & Phoebe (Hayden) Breese. This is my Maternal line.
There is an excellent Breese web site at breeseusa.org

I walked the Bellview Cemetery in Greene County, Missouri yesterday. I did not find Amanda's tombstone. There are some stones that are unreadable. I will try to contact the Bellview Cemetery Association & see if they have a plot for her. If so I will go back & see if her stone is one of the unreadable ones. I will take a photo for you if it is.
I have been taking pictures of stones at the Rose Cemetery, Hobart OK and also doing newspaper research for those on my list. Was John Appleby also know at J D Appleby. Also was his father A R Appleby of Tennessee. And did he have a brother W F Appleby of Wildersville TN. If so, I have found information on this.

I've been archiving like crazy during my vacation, so there are some Applebys for you to decorate. Also I wanted you to know that we have finally figured out how to bring out the inscriptions on the children's graves near one of the Appleby memorials.

I have some new additions to the St. Peter's archive and I'm wondering if you have any information on one of my permanent residents, a Mrs. Mary Appleby Devoe? I'm having a hard time deciphering the year of her death from the photo and was wondering if you had any resources that might clarify the point. She's memorial # 36939607.

I have a new one for you.

I am interested in Troy Appleby.
I have done quite a bit of research on him. He had no Descendants. He was the President and CEO of Ohio National Life Insurance in Cincinnati. He was born in Polk County Morrisville MO. He is buried at Spring Grove Cemetery. I have added a photo and a Stone.

What picture? Please clarify. I need some points of reference.
