Photos I take belong to the people who ask for them. You are free to do whatever you wish to with them. I ask that they not be published on pay-to-view sites.
I want to thank everyone who has stepped up and offered corrections or taken transfers for the cemeteries I've been working, it's been a rewarding experience.
I WAS in the process of visiting all of Danvers cemeteries and ensuring they are fully catalogued. I am only posting fresh photos when I think mine are better or show something different. If you object, drop me a line and we can chat.
Not sure what I am doing now, I appear to be chasing my relatives through Middlesex county and trying to sort them out. There does not seem to be a driving theme to that other than seeing who I stumble across in records and cemeteries and where they fit in the larger picture. I am not a direct descendant of most of them, but I am geographically local to them so there is some kind of logic to this in the larger scheme.
I do take breaks and handle occasional photo requests - if you have a location, that makes it a lot more tempting. It's a challenge to walk a large cemetery looking for two headstones and then have 4 more requests for the same cemetery a week later.
I trim my messages and only leave those that I need to do something about - I'm not hating you, just trying to use the messages to advantage. (Although I think I will keep the message from Billie forever - such an inspiration)
Currently between laptops, all my "todo" notes are on the old one, new one doesn't have room for so many photos.

GR16 Swin(n)erton (checked - was complete)
GR20 Buxton/Goodale (checked - was complete)
(GR7/Beverly in MVR) Leech/East Danvers (checked - was complete)
GR9 Holten - fair sized
Completely photographed. need to clean up 53 photos. ~1400 added to date.
Some of the photos are less than optimal. I've noted many of them to re-take, I trust I don't miss any - let me know if you find a horrible one that should be re-taken.
??? St Mary Sylvan St - moderate size, but Catholic, so every headstone has 20 names.
??? Xavierian (waiting for SJP to file obits to add remaining 200+ photos) - perhaps a student project?
??? Danvers State Hospital - finally found it!
??? Anshe Sfard - there are about 10 cemeteries back in those woods
GR11 Walnut Grove - Huge
??? Annunciation - Large
Defunct - exist in records, but not on the ground.
??? Potter's field (off Adams street, empty lot behind St Mary's, but no headstones)
??? Porter Cemetery (not on FaG, off locust street, near Connors farm) - Although I have seen recent clues as to a cemetery near here - it still evades me, but then the location given for Potter's field was way off.
GR17 Pedricks Cemetery (not on FaG) (behind the high school I suppose accessible from the Rail Trail, only has one headstone which I gather has since vanished)
GR10 Putnam (off Sylvan street, bodies moved to Porter's ca. 1920)
GR12 Jacobs private burial ground, Gardner's Hill (have not found)
GR21 Pope private burial ground, Pope's Lane, Danvers Centre (have not found - it should be back by Hutchinson)

I had just about given up hope that someone would photograph the DeCastro and Aldrich stones. Thank you so much. I was thrilled to find Ella Aldrich Holmes was there also. I have just finished her memorial and again I have you to thank.

jack, thank you so much for the photo. i don't think a second picture is necessary--when enlarged the script is easy enough to read and the memorial page has transcribed the panel (so when compared with the transcription it is fine). i appreciate your time and trouble and am very glad to see this photo. thanks again. have a lovely week & weekend!

I'm sorry, I don't have any information on Mr. Parker. I believe I added him to Findagrave.com from an obituary or death notice.
|Ralph Kimbrel||Phyllis W. Kimball|
You probably didn't miss Phyllis grave when you visited that cemetery because there might not have been a grave there yet, she might still be living (even though she would be in her 90's) or either she got married again after her husband died in 1960 and we may never have a closer date for Phyllis. I just decided to go ahead and list her anyway and keep checking for other data on her. So far I haven't found a thing on her or Melvin except I found what I believe to be Melvin's brother, (William Warren Kimball's) obituary. Which if it is really his brother the obituary also contain Melvin E. Kimball's parents name. You would have to make the decision as to whether you want to list them in his Biography. Thanks Jack.
