Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a 75 year old woman that got involved in my ancestry about 15 years ago. After I retired from being a cosmetologist about 9 years ago I really got involved with finding my ancestors. After researching to find them I decided that I should go and visit there final resting place. I flew back to Texas where most of them were laid to rest, then took a road trip all over the state. I visited 27 cemeteries plus the San Jacinto Monument. The papers of my g-g-grandfather (Daniel Parker) are stored There. I feel like I really got in touch with my roots.

Twisted family roots
My name is sheryl and I am married to James, who is the great grandson of Samuel Phillip Pipkin and Lethe Addie Wright. After the death of Lethe, Sam married Addie Parker who had an older sister named Rebecca, Rebecca is my great great grandmother. I am actually trying to work on my paternal grandfather's tree which includes Rebecca. If you have any information to share, I would greatly appreciate it. My mother has done a lot on my dad's mom's side and her side. Kathy has done a lot on the pipkin side, thanks Kathy.

Thank you so much for letting me know :) I have corrected it. Are you related? His sister Nancy Parker Benson Suttons step son John "Willis" Benson (he was raised as her own son) was my great grandfather.

RE: Correction for Find a Grave
Hey Jo Ann - Where do I have Addie listed as a Wright. I have been through all of my records and none of them have her as a Wright. So if I do, I need to correct it. Let me know

Take care. Good to hear from you

Annie Parker Anderson
My great grandmother, Annie Parker Anderson, was also a daughter of Benjamin & Ireana Parker, and an older sister to your grandmother Addie Parker. Unfortunately, she died in 1908. Fortunately, we have a couple of old photographs from the 1800's, and even one when she was a very young woman. It would be nice to talk to your grandmother to get her memories, but we're always 50 years too late, aren't we?
