|I am married, and, the mother of three grown children and two grandchildren. I became interested in Find-A-Grave as a way of remembering and honoring my loved ones - friends, relatives, ancestors. I know loss and grief as I lost my first husband in an accident, and, lost my second husband to cancer - both before I was 32 years old. I have been married to my third husband for over 35 years now, and, he has been loving, supportive, and, understanding. He adopted my three children, and, was just what we all needed. The grandchildren love him too. My interests are genealogy, and, the Civil War. I have met so many wonderful people on Find-A-Grave, and, I hope I can continue to contribute as I have time.|

|Ellen Waldo||Thanks, Babs|
Thank you, Babs, for correcting Mom's name on Ralph's memorial.
|Ellen Waldo||Memorial for Ralph|
Just a note to let you know I quite by accident discovered the Find a Grave memorial you created for Ralph today, as I was working on our genealogy (something I've been doing all my adult life)...I didn't know the memorial existed but was pleased and happy to see it. Thank you.
Also, this is a very small matter, but I wanted to let you know our Mom's name is Leetha, with two e's.
Not a day goes by that I don't think of my big brother, Ralph. He was a very important part of my life and I miss him every day. I have visited his grave a number of times, it's so far away from all of us, but we visit every time we get the chance.
Again, thank you for the memorial.

You are welcome for the photo, and if I haven't told you already you are welcome to use it on other sites if you wish. I actually enjoy contributing, it gets me out walking & the weather has been lovely for it. I'm also paying it forward to so many that have helped me. Have any requests in Ellis county, just let me know & I'll do my best.

Barbara ~ I will turn in a request for a location for the burial you requested. Please be advised that it takes two to four weeks to get a response from the cemetery and then I will drive down to take the pictures. I will not claim the requests right now because they will expire before I can get down there. If you have any questions or comments please let me know. ~ Karin Love

Thank you for you reply.
We have been working at locating all the branches of my dad's family and suddenly we find a Missouri connection while all th eothers are Brooklyn NY, HA!
I have a nice virtual cemetery of th eCivil War soldiers I havefound, and researched, as the NY State Military Museum has regimental records.
I found an unknown Revolutionary War hero and have been working towards his official recognition here. Visit Capt Isaac Conklin

At this point if you google him you should get right to it (the more google hits the higher up on the list he goes)

Hello and isn't FindaGrave wonderful. I saw a note you left on a Cedar gap photographer's page..My cousin Gloria Blue married Sylvester Carl Farris, and their daughter just sent me a photo of Culvey and Ida Mae which led us to the memorials in the Cedar Gap cemetery.
Which led me to reading some notes left for you.
I have been doing a gret deal of genealogical work on the Baumwoll family on Ancestry.com with the help of a good friend of the family.
How are you connected to Farris family?

I have been unable to locate the grave of your family member. It is not listed in the index of the cemetery book that I have.
|Tim Crutchfield||RE: Crutchfield/Scrutchfield|
Cape Girardeau is where I'm at right now. Tracy is in Landmark hospital here and I travel up here every day. I transferred my work to the Wal-Mart here in order to be closer to her.

No problem at all! Hope you and the family are all doing well. Jeanie
