I am a direct descendant of the Richard Haines who left England aboard the ship "Amity" in 1682. He died on the ship and his wife and kids settled in NJ. Richard was my 6th Great Grandfather. There are a lot of Haines in the US from this Richard. Nathan Haines of OH was my Gr Grandfather. Ebenezer Haines who married Rebecca Berry was his father. Nathan Haines married Sarah Iiams in Grant Co., IN. I have also done a lot of research on the Iiams name. My Grandfather E. Morton Haines was born in Grant Co., IN in 1865 and moved to OR in 1892 where he lived out his life. I have a lot of family connections to Grant Co., IN.

RE: Photos of Hollingworth
Hi Nathan, very good photo of Alma Hollingwhatever. I probably need to find the obit or death certificate to see what it says. She could have changed the way she spelled it also. Thanks for all you do, you go that extra mile.

Laura C Berger TS picture

Thank you so much for the pictures of the Berger/Canfield tombstones. I was able to hook her up to the correct line in the family tree very quickly. That sure doesn't happen very often!

The information you added about george Canfield and the others in the family you took pictures of is just fine with me. Thank you for taking the initiative - they are all related!

Woodworth, Lawrence E. headstone photo
Nathan thanks so much for the excellent photo of Larry's marker and the landscape one showing where his grave is in context with the cemetery landmark. This is permanently going to help any relatives who want to visit from now on so it's extra valuable. Such a thoughtful way to perform this service.

RE: Photos of Hollingworth
Hi Nathan. I found the Oregon Death Record for Alma E Hollingworth d: 28 Aug 1957. Did you notice that her head stone reads Hollingsworth. With the "s". Crazy. I did follow her from Nebraska in 1900 with her parents Joseph & Wealthy to Portland,OR in 1910 Census, she was there in 1920, I finally located her on the 1930 census under Hallingsworth and still there on the 1940 with no age given living with a June Nunemaker 79.
Thank You again for the photos of the other Hollingworths and now Alma. I did not know where she died before requesting J & W's photos. So you helped with information AND Photos.
Many Thanks!
