In September 2007, I retired after teaching mathematics for 30 years. Almost immediately I became hopelessly addicted to genealogy. I have photographed relatives' tombstones in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Tennessee, New York, Wisconsin and Missouri. I have published two books: "The Ancestry of William Floyd Myers in Jay County, Indiana," and "Salamonia Christian Church, 1842-1999." I'm currently working on a book about my Myers family genealogy.
I was born Judith Ann Myers in Richmond, Indiana, and spent the first 35 years of my life in various parts of central Indiana. Then my family and I moved to Tennessee for 2 1/2 years, then to Tempe, Arizona, for 5 years, and finally back to Knoxville, Tennessee, where we still live.
your Dorothy-Ann Myers photo request I was told by Meadowlawn Cemetery that the first lookup for a burial site is free. They charge $10 for each additional. If you could please call and request a plot lookup for free to accompany your photo request, I can go and fulfill your photo request for this cemetery using my cemetery map.
RE: James H. Graves The Dale/Rice cemetery was used by Hennepin County for folks under the care of the county. The county didn't put markers on the graves. My aunt is buried there and has a marker that I had installed a few years back.
James Graves Hi again, Judy, I only received one email from you about James Graves and the only item on there was his wife's name. So go ahead and send me any other additions, I'd be happy to add them.
James Graves Hi Judy, Thank you for the information you sent to add more information to James Graves memorial. I added his wife's name to his biography. I also looked on the Minnesota History Center site for his information in the Death Index and added his full birth date as well as place of death.
