I sent you an e-mail with attached plot layouts so let me know if you don't get it.

RE: Catherine Hanly
I went to St. Michael's today and found the plot. The person that took the photos was thorough. There were no markers besides the Main monument inscription for her husband, Thomas, and his separate headstone. The flip side of the marker has Margaret O'Connor 1801-1895. Only the east and west faces have inscriptions and for only those two. There is a separate marker for Mary Wright. That's it far Block 60, Lot 8. All the rest are unmarked. I'll have Denise send me the block layout so I can place her unmarked grave with a flag and take a photo for you of the next week.

Wow, I just saw that there was an actual photo of her husband's grave marker! I know exactly where it is based on that photo. I'm going there again this weekend so I'll check out that stone to see if she's inscribed on the other side or if there is a separate headstone. Would you mind posting the request again?

Hi, I claimed your photo request at St. Michael's. I did a lot of work there this summer and have looked for the graves with no photos and did not find hers before so I asked Denise at St. Charles who looks up the records there. I thought maybe it was unmarked. She said there are only 3 Hanlys there: Daniel d.1917, Lois d. 1966, and Louise Ann d. 1950. She did check for both spellings, Hanly and Hanley and she checked for the death year too. No record of her exists at St. Michael's.

Huffman Family
Danna - I was glad that I could fulfill your photo request for the Huffman photo - there are other Huffman's buried in that cemetery - last night I linked Rosalie Huffman to her spouse Pvt. Robert E. Huffman. (Not sure if they are connected or not.) My sister lives just a few miles from the Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Lincoln Co., KY - if you have any other request in that area I am sure I can have her get them for you. Thanks for all you do for Find A Grave.

I saw one of the photos which I posted rightside-up is now sideways, so I am deleting that one also.

Hi Danna,

I deleted the photos you requested so you could post yours under the (unsponsored page) five-photo-limit. If you sponsor a page, the photo limit increases to 20.

As to the upside-down photos, I have no idea what went wrong, since the photos were rightside-up when I posted them, and they show as rightside-up on the iPad, but upside down on the Mac laptop.

Note, if you click on the photos themselves, using a computer, they will open up in a separate window rightside-up.

And, I have already deleted the photos from my camera.

Since you have downloaded the photos already to a computer, perhaps you can transfer them to a program where you can rotate them, then re-post them yourself to the memorials.

If that fails, I will just have to take new photos!

In the meantime, I will take down all the upside-down photos you have noted.

:) Titania
