I would like to thank all of the volunteers who take the time to enter the SACs and information I send to them. I do research the information with Census, birth/marriage/death records and obituaries before I submit the request.|
In response to an email I sent to a librarian at the Brooklyn Collection of the Brooklyn Public Library, I was told it is okay to retype an obituary or a death notice, in whole or in part, from the collection at the BDE and post it to FindAGrave memorials. The newspaper should be cited as the source. It is an orphan publication since the publisher is no longer in business so there is no copyright infringement.
Please visit Marcy Border's memorial, a 9-11 survivor who recently succumbed to stomach cancer and Cassandra Ann Morton's memorial, a murder victim who's case is still unsolved.
Please DO NOT POST DUPLICATE HEADSTONE PHOTOS ON ANY MEMORIALS I CREATE OR MANAGE. There is no reason to have two (or more) headstone photos. If the memorial is un-sponsored there is limited space. If your photo shows more detail than mine, please contact me via email to discuss it.
I will transfer memorials unless it's my direct ancestor or I'm more closely related than the requester. My goal is to reunite memorials I have created to family members. You can send the request via the suggest any other correction link under the edits tab.
You are welcome to use any photos that I have taken and posted on FindAGrave for personal use and/or not-for-profit genealogical Web sites. Please reference Find A Grave and the memorial number that you copied the photo from.

|DUVCW||COLONEL SALISBURY- G R VETS CEM|
When I posted this memorial, I wondered if "Colonel" is a title or his first name ?
When I do research in this Cemetery, I pass his stone and it is still a mystery.
Any thoughts ?

Christina your most welcome. I think they have all been photographed with a few exceptions but there are a LOT of beyond repair headstones and unreadable ones.

Thank You Christina !

I just sent a link for Delia Peltier Lorangers Mother
It will link her to her Mother and Siblings and eventually her grandparents and great grandparents. All members of my Sears family lineage via my Grandmother Hellen.
I would like to thank you for all your hard work.
My goal is to link all my family members with the information I have been gathering for the last 10 years. I hope it is still here for my great-great-great grandbabies to enjoy.

Thanks Christina. This is not my line but is a collateral family line. I just hate to see people getting sent off in the wrong direction by mistake. Your the best!
