|James Goodknight||Avery Dye III/Corinth Baptist Cemetery, Ralls County|
I'm kind of new at this, so I also sent you an email.
Avery Dye III and his wife Sarah "Sallie" Puckett are by 4th great grandparents. Their daughter Sarah "Sallie" Dye married Edward Goodnight.
Your entry in Find a grave says Avery was buried in Corinth Cemetery in 1830. Ronald Leake at the Ralls County Historical Society showed me record of the church being formed in about 1880, or 50 years after Avery died. He says it is not possible that he is buried there. He also gave me a list of burials which does not include Avery. In fact, the earliest burial listed is 1897.
I am wondering if maybe it was on original Dye land and later became the church and church cemetery.
I was wondering if you could tell me the source of your information that Avery is buried there.
Find-a-grave also lists his wife Sarah, who died in 1860, but notes that she may or may not be buried there. I believe she might have gone back to Kentucky in the Perryville area after Avery died, but not sure about that either.
I really appreciate all the work you have done and are doing on this site! It is a great resource.
Sincerely, James Goodknight
would love to add the Obit to Mrs Love memorial. thanks,

I just made the transfer to Phyllis. Sally is in a nice home in Colorado Springs where two nieces take turns looking in on her. I think it would be far better if she were in Fulton with her friends, but I don't get a vote on this one! I think she will never see her home again. This is very hard.
It was good to hear from you!

Marsha, I just looked and she is already on findagrave - # 53067512
|Debbie Turley Schmidt||Muirs|
I would welcome the transfer of Hattie Muir and any other of the Muirs that you have so kindly taken the time to post! Thanks you so much.
If it is ok with you I intend to send you more. And please do not be offended if I send an edit sometime. I love doing research also. Jo Ann
I have been meaning to tell you... once I transfer they are YOURS and you can do what you want with them. Still aim to send more your way. Thanks for being patient. Jo Ann
I checked the 50 + Fischers in Montgomery County and none of them are mine. Sorry. I have been working on giving you what Callaway County memorials I have. Jo Ann
Marsha, would you want FISCHER also ? Jo Ann
The Christophers in Wellsville I just transferred has only the info from the Cemetery Book. I did not look for actual dates, middle or maiden names, or connections. I did put the plot number so that may help with the connections. If something does not look right let me know and I will recheck.
