RE: Braudrick, Nancy, Louise & Susan
Hello Roland,
Have you dared to reach out to Susan via the phone number you have for her? I'd like to reach out to her also. If you would, please send me her phone number to my personal email address: myklu@yahoo.com Thank you, Elin

Thank you Roland for your reply.
I agree with you that the other person should have checked.
Also, its interesting that the Find A Grave software does not automatically check for duplicates and disallow such an entry. Instead recommending a change of ownership or to offer additional info that the original owner could add.

Duplicate Entry
Hi Roland,
I discovered another entry for your Find A Grave Memorial # 34306433 for Andrew William HOISHOLT. The entry was done after yours but it has much more info on hin. It is Find A Grave Memorial # 52237948.
Is there any way they could be combined or possibly you could put info that would direct an inquirer to this other entry.
Thanks,
Doug Harris
PS I am not related to this individual but am doing a private research.

Braudrick, Nancy, Louise & Susan
Dear Roland,

You wrote:
"As for Susan Louise Braudrick Simon, it looks like there's a phone number and address listed under her name and city name, so it appears she's doing well"

Would you consider contacting Susan and letting her know of our memorial to her mother and sister and perhaps she has a photo of her mother and maybe even another of her sister, that she would place into the group of photos we currently have.

Susan Braudrick
I found her father ROberts obit. Susan is Susan Simon. She was living in Newark, California as of 2007 (per her fathers obit). In 2014 She was still living when her step mother passed away but the obit doesn't say where.
Looks like she may have a son Nicholas Simon.
I have created a memorial for Robert and linked him to Nancy.

RE: 148471881 - Nancy Braudrick
Roland, The photos are excellent. Nancy would have been (depending on her birth month, 65 this year, the same age as my brother will be in October) If you can visit Oakland, CA any time soon take in a visit to the Mountain View Cemetery while you're here. The history and stories contained there are 1000's fold. Please keep me (and Smontee) in the loop if you're able to find more information on Nancy's family, on where her younger sister Susan might be.

I'm sorry your Aunt Pam (Nancy's friend) died at the young age of 53. My youngest brother died at 51. I'm not sure if findagrave will allow this, but it would be wonderful if you would link your Aunt Pam's findagrave with Nancy's since their photos are in the same two photos. Then their history (and ours) would become broader.

When I find connections to people in the cemetery I delve into finding as much information as I can about everyone involved, so that I also found information about Chris W Lunge, 34, whose car was hit by Louise, and who also died that day. I feel closer to all of them now. Smontee (and I) also created Find A Grave Memorial# 148472007 for Chris too.

Hey, Elin messaged me and said that she sponsored the memorial so you can add the pictures now. Did you see her message? That was very kind of her..

RE: 148471881 - Nancy Braudrick
Dear Roland,

I've newer and clear photos that I've taken of Nancy's and Louise's grave marker, but so far I'm unable to transfer them from my phone to my computer. When I can figure out how to do it, I'll be changing a few of them out too. I'd like to keep in the newspaper report as it gives historical information and understanding that in those days, when we didn't wear seat belts, many accidents were fatal. Your grandmother most likely had a premonition (I've had them also) and honored it, so that it saved your aunt's life.

By any chance do you have a photo of Nancy's sister? Or knowledge of where she might be living today?

RE: The Hansen Name
It was my grandfather who arrived from Oslo, going to Oakland, CA as a young man and engineer. His company designed and manufactured the large turbines for the dams that were being built throughout California. The Nightingale rings no bells.
