Caution
My photographic works and photos I have posted are protected by in bedded copyright. You Must ask permission before reproducing in any form .

Quote From Jim Tipton founder of F.A.G. on updated rules after being acquired by Ancestry . com found in help with find a grave .

"It will still be wrong for someone to 'steal' a photo from Find A Grave and post it on other websites as if it were their own".
.
Please do not ask me to post a obituary that does not have a source ,it is not allowed ,and could lead to a breach of public domain .

If requesting a transfer first read that section in help with find a grave and in My bio. Other wise it will not be considered . Do not leave request on this page ,must be done the proper way to be considered .

Please do not request transfers in less You fully intend to add links and or further improve the information . If you are just collecting memorials use your virtual cemetery function . No request will be considered with out relationship being stated . I have ancestry and will check so be truthful .

Transfers should be requested by using the edit feature on memorial and leaving as a suggestion or (sac) please do not leave request on My public messaging they will not be considered . Your relationship must be stated also. No exceptions .

Despite what many claim .
Find a grave is first and foremost a grave registration site ,as stated by its founder .

omg best thing that has ever happened to F.A.G. the new edit function and some contributors are bad mouthing it . You got think ungrateful .

I happily add links and other appropriate information if sent by the edit function on memorial.

Corrections /request should not be left as public message as there are plenty of other means now to do them . Public message's WERE NEVER MENT FOR CORRECTIONS ,SO I will not make corrections this way anymore as it is just to difficult .

If your reporting a duplicate please add the duplicates F.A.G. number .
Please remember that F.A.G. has threads running that will eventfully merge dups. into the first created . Don't go postal over a dup.

When I first started contributing TO F.A.G. you could just inter a memorial ,and that's about it , this gave us time to learn the ropes as features were added, we had time to learn them ,now it seems new ones just jump in there with out reading the guide lines and how to do things right , this rapidly makes them look foolish , and causes problems galore. Please new ones read help with F.A.G. before you use this site and add to it .

Find a Grave seems to bring out the worst or the best in folks there seems to be no middle ground . For that reason it seems we all need to make a special effort to show as much respect for the living as we do for the one's who have passed on .

If it is your intent to be anything but cordial and respectful, I strongly recommend you read further in this bio. before doing so .

If you feel you need to contact me on a personal or sanative matter please do so thru my good friends memorial
Find A Grave Memorial# 71410062 using the edit function .

I hope F.A.G.soon works on punishing those who are stealing our work and photos as promised ,we work hard ,it is not fair that others get credit for our efforts. I have seen hundred if not thousands of my photos on ancestry .com and I am thinking of taking legal action .

I never profit from My photos even though I spend a great deal of time and money taking photos . And I really do not wont any person or web site to profit from them. And I do not wont My ancestors photos stolen and posted by others as though they belong to them . If I see My photo's on another Web site and My list shows no permission was obtained. I will ask them to be removed and if they are not ,I will contact the web site to have them removed .

New editing function has rolled out to all members.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm getting a lot of good feed back on My stance of not putting up with harassment, a lot of contributors are also fed up .Some are saying they are thinking of giving up , I think things will get better now that Ancestry. COM has acquired this site .
In till the last couple of Years ago the following statement was not necessary but unfortunately it is now.
To a select but growing few } Please be aware as a contributor on find a grave does not mean You have given up free will, no contributor is obligated to do anything . If You are making a suggestion do not turn it into a demand or try to manipulate or bully a contributor into making Your suggestion . I can't speak for others but as for Me any attempt at demanding or manipulation automatically rejects Your suggestion and further Hate mail internet bullying ,stalking , intimidation are crimes and will be reported and prosecuted if necessary . Further more after becoming aware of theses crimes the web site is obligated to take action against perpetrators of these crimes or it is also at risk of prosecution .
A person goes out and spends money on a camera flash cards ,batteries . Gasoline ,wear an tear on there vehicle not mention time, fights off snakes , mosquitoes ,ticks ,high grass and weeds , walks in the heat and cold ,mud and people cant even send them a thank You ! ,something is seriously wrong with that ,but that's what happening ,out of my last 50 or so photo request I fulfilled I got about 3 thank You notes ,and about 8 or 10 for the last 50 transfers ,and the fact that F.A.G. sends out a reminder email to suggest You say thank You , makes it even hurt more . Come on folks that is all we ask in return for transfers and photo request . I think this says a lot about what is wrong with society to day .
Hi Jarrott. I've claimed this photo request, but this one sounded familiar. Yes, I have checked for this one before and was told that she is not buried at Inglewood. Could she have been buried under a different name? If you have any doubts, or if you have other information, please call the cemetery yourself and then get back to me.
Rachel Bradley # 57941472
From Rachel's Missouri death cert. (# 13537) her parents were William Wardin and Jennie Lyons.
Her 1st husband was Julius Todd. According to the 1900 census, she had given birth to 9 children but only 1 was still living at time of census. William E. Todd is that child. He's buried with her. I can't find where he died but was living with his mom and step father in the 1910 census.
Her 2nd husband was Ben F Bradley. They married 6 May 1901 in Nevada, Vernon Co., MO.
Oma
Hi Jarrott
Yes I was ask to add Oma last week by Yvette when they knew she did not have much longer to live
I connected her w/Roy but did not add her dates or cemetery cause they wanted me to wait
I had no clue you had also created a memorial for Oma
I've done research for someone & they don't show then I go back & they were added prior to mine.
No clue why this happens, not often but it does
What would you like me to do?
RE: Photo usage
No, I'm only updating the Englewood Cemetery website and beginning to add/update the findagrave listings that are missing information that I have. I hope I am not bombarding you with edits on your memorials. I'm going through my 14,000 burials and cross referencing with information with findagrave. This will be a long project. Please let me know if you want me to submit these differently. I appreciate the work you've put into these memorials and thank you for the photo permission.
RE: correction
Yes I am aware Find A Grave is now owned by Ancestry but Find A Grave is run separate at the present time and there is no objections re genealogy sites that gather info as far as the library is concerned. I am assuming your original message refers to a photo connected with an obit I put on in which case I already have credited the entry to the Pueblo Chieftain.
Hope this helps
Vaughan
