Bio and Links
I encountered Find A Grave years ago while surfing the net one day on some Hollywood greats, when I came across Clark Gable's memorial. Getting interested in the photos featured, I started browsing names and there they were: Fernandel, David Niven, Rita Hayworth...I was impressed to see such a keen index of so many deceased persons, even though at that time it amounted to only a couple of thousands!

Although I kept visiting the site from time to time, I did not join in immediately as a member. When I did, I used to leave a couple of messages, but creating memorials seemed a bit difficult. The first one came following the death of my Great Aunt, Sr. Teresa Orlando rscj., in 2002.

Eventually, FAG became for me a special point of reference. It did take me quite a time to collect all the information posted here, especially when it relates all the biographies featured. Naturally, in order to be able to present here all these profiles and photos, I have been in touch across the years, with several dioceses, provinces, and archive collections from all over the world. Naming all the sources is virtually impossible, but I have to mention Mr. Salvador Miranda, creator of "The Cardinals of the Holy Roman Church" Digital Resource.

Researchers might find a number of interesting profiles in my entries, including a full Necrology of all the late members of the Mid-West Augustinian Province and the Western Dominican Province, which I added across the years thanks to the great support and help received from Brother Thomas Taylor OSA., and the late Father Fabian Stan Parmisano OP., (1926 - 2009). Other entries include all the Dominican Friars interred at Rosaryville, Ponchatoula, Louisiana. These Friars belonged to the Midwestern Dominican Province of the USA. Most of the Dominican Friars affiliated with this Province buried at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois, can be also found in another Virtual Cemetery of mine.

I always try to remember people who in their humbleness worked and took care of many, in silence, for whom history has left little or no space. Hoping you might find some of the memorials to your interest, I wish above all, that they might be also appreciated by others or remembered in prayers.

RE: Harry Pritchard
Dear Eman
Thanks for the reply. You have already photographed Harry Pritchard for me. It is Charles Effamy that I need. According to the Ta'Braxia web site he is buried there but does not give a grave reference number. The Commonwealth Grave site have no record of him but says there are five WW1 men buried there. Perhaps he does not have a headstone.

RE: Harry Pritchard
Dear Eman
You may remember that I asked about Charles Effamy who we know died in Malta. We have now been given the information that he was buried on 13th July 1915 in Ta'Braxia cemetary. Would you have time to photograph the head stone for us? On 11th November we are having an Avenue of Remembrance at our Church. We are using photos of the local men who died in both World Wars. Where we don't have a photo we are using their grave pictures, so your will be on display once more.
Many thanks again for the work you do, it is very much appreciated.

Bishop Flores
Thank you for the memorial you set up for our bishop. You can find the link at . He will be buried on September 17th at Holy Cross Cemetery.

There is a mausoleum at the cemetery where previous bishops (Bishop Buddy and Bishop Maher) are buried. I assume Bishop Flores will join them. As soon as there is a marker I hope to photograph it.

RE: Aloisius Muench
Please give me a little time. I'm traveling right now, but I'll copy all the information and photos from my entry, delete it, then reenter him again, as a famous entry.
