After serving 30 years in the USN, I finally put down some permanent roots when our family including our dogs, Max and Murphy, moved to the Blue Ridge mountains near Hendersonville, NC. Longtime outdoor enthusiasts we're blessed to live in some of the most beautiful country anywhere. One of my hobbies is family research/genealogy. One of my goals for the families I research is to reunite/link as many of their members back together on Find A Grave that I can. So often families are spread over the country. And, as one who has be deployed with the navy many times I'm sensitive to this family separation. I appreciate everyone who contributes to this great endeavour on Find A Grave.|

You sent me an edit to link Edwin Radford to his father. On his fathers page it shows his wife as Hattie. I have Edwin's mother as Della. Is that still correct or is Hattie his mother?

I put up photos for the several Bracelands, Richwagens, and Eliz Greathead all marked on the same stone. There were 2 small flat markers nearby that looked like they were part of the same plot: Sir (?!) Jonathan Andrew Miller and Joseph W. Bower, so I also put those photos up, but you'll have to research to see if they really are part of the family. The "Sir" marker was especially odd, as it was right up against the back of the Braceland stone, as you can see from the photo. Good luck with your tree!

There was another "Greathead" name on a stone in a different section of the cemetery, with the family name "Braceland" on the front.
Elizabeth C. Greathead 1894-1966 was one of several names on the back of the stone; the others were all named Braceland or Richwagen. Let me know if you'd like a photo of that stone and the others in that Braceland plot.

Thanks for the link and for the date correction. I had it correct in my computer database but somehow entered it incorrectly on her memorial. She's very distantly related and I'd be happy to transfer if you'd like me to.

Thank you for the edits on the Goodwins, at
Burial Hill, Plymouth, MA. These memorials
were transferred to me. I am currently doing
research to find the information needed.

Np, thanks for the background info. That makes sense...I had wondered to myself the connection bcuz there were mainly C.Verdean/Portuguese surnames in that section. I think Thomas' middle name was Cardoza too.
|Nikki Browne||RE: Matilda Smith|
You're very welcome! This was my 3rd time looking for her & almost missed her again. The overgrowth @ the bottom had obscured Smith name but glad I found her. It looked like someone had previously taken great care w flowers & such so I tried to tidy up as best I could but, alas, I have no green thumb.

I nearly cried at your kind works yesterday. I have been having a difficult time getting information added and linked to a couple of people who are very important to me. I actually sent the message asking for this transfer by mistake, thinking it was another plea for another relative. I was very tired and your kind words about getting memorials to their families brought a tear to my eye. Thank you so much for helping me and all of your hard work to get these people connected. I am so very grateful!
You are a very kind man.
