|Stephen Lucas||RE: North Mountain Burial Ground|
Many thanks for your response. Is it on private property? Is there a road that leads to the cemetery?
|Stephen Lucas||North Mountain Burial Ground|
Question: Where exactly is the location of the North Mountain Burial Ground in Augusta County, Virginia? I have McCutchan ancestors buried there. Thanks!

Yes, that would be fine. She is not (at least I don't think so) not a family member. I was searching for my great-grandmother's history and I found this child...all alone(here) with no parents and it made me sad. I wanted her to have her family. I found my great-grandfather's first wife's location on a wall in a mental hospital and sent her virtual flowers and a thought. When I make it to Indiana, I am going to make a point to visit that wall and let her know that she hasn't been forgotten. My dad's grandmother married her husband while Ms. Elizabeth was still alive in the hospital and she lived there for years before finally passing away. I want to tell you how much I appreciate this website and all that your company is doing. I know cremations are so much cheaper and don't take up valuable real estate, but it is nice to know that you can go to where they are and "visit" with them. Thank you so much for the help you have given me to find my dad's family's markers and to be able to see where my grandparent's are buried. I know they are just pictures, but Florida is a long way without a car that will drive there and no money for hotel. I can look at their stones and remember them as if I was there. So to drone on, but thanks. Liz

Hi! I was wondering if you might transfer the memorial of Hiram Roberts in Roberts Cemetery, Martin, Indiana, to me, please? I'm doing some genealogy on my family and just now tracked down what happened to him and where he ended up! Thanks!
|BMalloure||Malinda Waggoner Holt|
I sent a request for a name change. I believe Malinda Waggoner Holt is Malinda Sims Holt. There are two James Holts in Martin County that married a Malinda. Malinda Sims 17 Jun 1866. I have a copy of James H. Holt's obit (1903) which states he married Malinda Sims and to this union was born nine children, three of whom are living. From the Martin County Genealogical Society - Abstracts of Obituaries 1869 - 1929, it indicates that Asbury was recovering from typhoid fever at the time of the death of one of his siblings, (17 June 1897) Aden and Ava died about this time. Asbury's mother, Malinda is living with him in 1910. This implies that this Malinda is Malinda Sims and not Malinda Waggoner. I do not know when Malinda Waggoner Holt died, but I believe she was living in Montague County, Texas in 1880.

I am a little confused....I see an entry for George Washington Waggoner listed in the Salem Cemetery and also in the Boggs Creek cemetery, both in Martin county Indiana. Dates in the memorials are the same as well. The photo of the headstone is exactly the same. Would the cemeteries be adjacent or perhaps the same but renamed?

Thank you so very much, LC. Please have a great weekend!

Sorry for the confusion. When I saw you had the picture memorial for Moore, I decided to ask for a transfer & would eliminate mine. Will go ahead & do it now. Thanks!
