Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a Military Historian and Reenactor, covering time-periods from the Pirate era to Vietnam in South Carolina. I am currently serving as the Commanding Officer of the "Palmetto Riflemen & New York Zouaves," an American Civil War Reenacting Unit, as well as being a member of the Micah John Jenkins Camp No. 164 of the Sons of Spanish American War Veterans, and the Charles Devens Jr. Camp No. 10, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.

I see it as an honor and a privilage to ensure that the Veterans of the United States are properly remembered and that there graves are cared for.

May I please use the photo you have shared of Addison and his wife? I would like to put it on my tree (with credit to you) and in my personal files.

Thank you.

Colonel George lee Morton
He was my great great grandfather. He had three children in total, Eliza, and George Lee Morton jr., in addition to Carrie who died in childhood. Eliza was my great grandmother. I'm wondering if you could add them.

William West Hammell
I wonder if you would be willing to share with me the source(s) of your biographic information on William West Hammell, 9th NY Infantry? I am writing a regimental history of the 16th NY Cavalry, and Hammell had a role in the creation of this unit. James Carson (

Ok, I added the article. I asked you first because your memorial is already so nice. But I do love the old articles, glad you let me post it. Thanks.
