Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a 50 "something" year old, and have been a stay at home mom for about 20 years. I got the genealogy bug about 18 years ago after my father had given me some information on my ancestors.

I'm right at home in a cemetery and usually manage to find at least one to visit while I'm on vacation!

If I send you an edit on a memorial, it's probably because I've researched the family in some way. I will abide by the FAG rules for duplicating memorials, newest one should be removed and/or merged. If I send you an edit and it's not taken care of after 30 days, I will send the edit to the FAG administration. If you're going to create the memorials, then take the time to maintain them. If I have management of a memorial that you want, please send the memorial # along with your member number. I will not turn over memorial's of my own family members. Please send memorial corrections through the proper channels- Edit and "SAC- suggest another correction",

Hatfields Chafins Roberts Connections
Hi, I am doing Research on my husband's connections to the Hatfields and the Chaffins. The Hatfields are on his father's side and the Chaffins are on his mothers side. I see you have Mary Roberts married to Christoper Chaffin. My Robert also has Roberts in his lines. I would very much like to contact you. My husband's family moved up to Detroit in the 1920-1940 from TN. I know you and I have a lot to share... would you please contact me at When I post back to you it will come in as Sarah Steinbach. Hope to hear from you soon and I will explain more then. thank you.

RE: Perrigan Cemetery, Clinchco Virginia
I took pictures of all the stones and matched them to the list in Find a Grave for Perrigan Cemetery, Clinchco, VA. Example: there is no Deel, Parker Lee... there is no Green, Junior Darrell.... there is no Mullins, J. B.... there is no Mullins, Manis. In short there is none of the names added by PIPER in 2009 and 2010. There is however a Perrigan Cemetery on Deel Lane off Nealy Ridge Road that is listed in the Sandy Basin DAR web site for Dickenson County. That does match the stones which are actually in the Perrigan Cemetery on Nealy Ridge. My pictures and the DAR list were created by actual feet on the ground verification. It appears you may have added your monuments to the wrong Cemetery. I have also written to PIPER but that person has not gotten back to me. There appears to be TWO cemeteries... one in or near Clinchco and one on Nealy Ridge. I simply hope to resolve this and get the information correct. Thanks for your help.

RE: Perrigan Cemetery, Clinchco Virginia
Thank you so much for getting back to me. I live in Maryland, but my Great Great Granfather Ira Franklin Stanley married a Perrigan and is buried there. I went for a visit last week and took pictures of all the stones in the cemetery and they do not match. I plan to create another cemetery and add your four to it along with the 20 or so current residents. You can then remove those four from the current cemetery if you wish. Many thanks to you for the work you do.

Perrigan Cemetery, Clinchco Virginia
Please help... I am confused. This cemetery has some of my relatives in it and I have taken pictures of all the stones. Some but not all do not match the list. Some were added by Piper and some by Modfreak but they are apparently two different cemeteries. There are NO mullins or Deel's in the Perrigan Cemetery off Nealy Ridge Road on Deel Lane. Can you help?

RE: Mem. for John Pawlowski
My research is more into the right John Pawlowski's wife, Victoria Fialkoska. She was my mother's cousin, the only other member of my Grandfather's family to come over from Poland. Almost every time I've found any information on her, I've had to find it through finding John first. This particular John that I found here on Find A Grave, has the right birth year, and his wife has the right death year, but wrong birth year and wrong first name. So, I'm really stuck right now. They married in 1916 at St. Casimir's. I don't know when John died nor what church handled their funerals, and apparently nor where they are buried. I am assuming that Holy Cross Cemetery would be an option as that is where my grandfather, Stanley/Stanislaw Chmielewski is buried.
They also had 2 daughters and 1 son, Leo Pawlowski. I haven't been able to find anything on him other than census records, so far. He appears to have been born in 1916 and was still living at home on the 1940 census.
Thanks for getting back to me.

RE: Mem. for John Pawlowski
I'm sorry, I didn't realize there were more than one. I'm referring to the one in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, buried with Bernice Pawlowski.
