Bio and Links
Bio Photo just a History junkie, I have always been interested in the vast collection of history in every cemetery I passed through. Now that I have the time I just decided to try to get pictures of every stone I found in every cemetery I could get to. I have a friend who took photos a few years ago for OKGENWEB. I have noticed that many of the stones that she took photos of were 80 to 90 years old were still in fair shape (readable) but now the stones seem to have deteriorated to the point that they are not readable. I asked a few people what has happened in the last ten years that is causing these stones to decay much more than they did the eighty or more years before? A couple of people have said the reason is "acid rain" makes sense I guess so if that's the case we better get this history recorded. I am not a collector of memorials I just feel it is up to the living to remember the dead and help link the families so others can find there ancestors. The photos I take are posted to be shared I don't care about copyright as long as the purpose is to share with the family members. If there are family members who wish to maintain memorials that I have posted I will be glad to transfer to them as long as it's not from my family. Again I'm not in competition to see how many memorials I can make, it is just an O.C.D. thing (I'm crazy)! If I can help anyone find a long lost loved one it makes my day, I live in Adair County, OK. and will try to help find any grave within 100 miles of my home, good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise!

Elizabeth Remington
I had called yesterday to obtain her plot information and was told she was not at Memorial Park. Today, I went to the office and found that she is. Her last name was misspelled Renington on their records. Her first name is listed by her given name, Diantha. They have corrected the record and she is listed as Diantha E Remington. Will be posting her photo once I get them edited. Red

Thank you and you keep up the good work too. I know how hard it is to try to find the burial location of a loved one. So I am trying to help others with their searches by adding to find a grave.

RE: updates
No. I can't make out from the photo good enough which one is which. Can you tell which one of yours is Synora? Then the other one has to be the other name. I think. Shame those markers were made of plain concrete or whatever they used.

RE: Susie Francis Bennett
Bennett is Susie's married name. She is the sister of a dear friend of mine. I don't know her family history. If she were related, it would be as an in-law.

That's alright. It happens to me too. I check with and without the death year and some times the memorial doesn't show up so I create o
ne. Only to find out one was already there. Sure hope.Find A Grave can fix the problem.
