Find-a-Grave has been helpful in my family research. This site has linked me up with relatives that I didn't even know existed. I hope that someday down my grandkids will appreciate the family that they can find on this site. My family names I am tracking/researching are my virtual cemeteries.
I enjoy taking volunteer photos - the exercise I get and the challenge of finding the requested memorial. My volunteer pictures have come from 118 different cemeteries over three states. It is like the new F-A-G mobile app was created to make it easier for me to take volunteer pictures. :) I love the fact that the new app puts the GPS location of the grave on the photo's that I am adding using my phone on the app.
You have my permission to use the headstone pictures without giving me credit.
Merle L. Haner Mike Kokoruda manages the Merle Haner memorial; I had also noticed the date discrepancy and had made adjustments to my tree--but can find no documentation, other than Find A Grave, for either date of death. I have messaged Mike to see if he has specific information on the death date; will let you know if/when I learn anything. Kathy
thank you :) That was super quick :) I really do appreciate your effort. Your photo gave a very important date to that memorial. I can only hope u got the exercise, and adventure u were going after on your journey.
I'm really loving the app too, that GPS is a very nice touch.
