Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello: My name is Bill Kazupski and I am a resident of the City of Chicago. I live on the far south side of Chicago, blocks from a few of the south and southwest Chicago suburbs.

I come from a family of Chicago police officers. My father spent over 30 years with the force and both my brothers and I am currently a Chicago police homicide detective and have been with the Chicago police department for over 25 years. My mother is a nurse and my one sister works for Loyola Hospital.

I enjoy being a volunteer with Find-A-Grave because it allows me to get my walking exercise in while helping others. Kind of killing two birds with one stone as they say.

The following cemeteries are within walking distance from my residence:

St. Mary's
Mount Greenwood
Mount Olivet
Mount Hope
Hazelgreen
Restvale
Saint Casimir
Chapel Hill Gardens (South)
Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
Evergreen Cemetery
First Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery

Burr Oaks - Due to this cemetery digging up burial plots and dumping the coffins and bodies, this cemetery is the focus of national media and news outlets. It is a historical black cemetery operated by African Americans. It is currently shut down to the public as the criminal investigation is in progress. (Update: This cemetery has re-opened under new management)

Feel free to e-mail with any requests for these cemeteries.

Good Luck To All!

Bill, thanks for the photos for the Mutters--my friend's grandparents. Your going out, finding, and documenting these burials is much appreciated--as is all you do for F-A-G!

RE: Catherine McMahon Straub 137687988
I found a memorial for Catherine Wynn O'Brien, 134498367. She is buried in Section 52, Lot 124. Dates on the headstone indicate this most likely is the Catherine buried Jul 19 1963.

I created a memorial for Mary McInerney, 137928365.

Thanks again for all your help.

Helmund and Wilma Spitzer
You took a great headstone photo for Helmund and Wilma Spitzer and posted it on Wilma's Memorial# 116220909. I just added a memorial for her husband Helmund Memorial# 137881620.

Since this is a dual headstone, I was wondering if you would mind adding the same photo to his memorial?

Thank you

Thank you for allowing use of your photo and filling the photo request for Delia McMahon Keating 137786564.

The photo posted for Delia is the same as the one for David Alexander & Catherine (McMahon) Straub. I assume there is no marker for Delia but she is buried in the same plot (Section 52 Lot 124) along with Catherine O'Brien and Mary McInerney. I don't know who Catherine and Mary are, so I did not create memorials for them. Do you have any information such as a DOB and or DOD? I could create memorials for them and possibly another Find A Grave member that is related would want the memorials transferred. I'm guessing these ladies are related to the McMahon family somehow.

Thanks again :)

Thank you for taking the time to fill my photo request. The photo is great and appreciated very much. It verified the death date & burial place of my great uncle, David Alexander Straub. I have created a memorial for him, 137784410. Could you please the headstone photo you took to his memorial too?

Also, I would like to use the photo on my family tree at Ancestry.com. Given your permission, I will post it and credit you as the photographer. Please let me know if this is okay.

Thanks again.
