I live in Kansas. I have been doing family history research for over 25 years and LOVE it. I very much enjoy walking, photographing and recording info from cemeteries, especially the older ones. Since finding FindAGrave I have made many more family connections because of people's time and hard work putting the info on here. So I am just trying to do the same, help someone find their family connections. I would love to add additional info to the memorials, so don't hesitate to ask me to add more info for you. These memorial don't BELONG to me, so I don't mind transfering to family if I am not related. However, please remember that it takes time to create the memorials and to take the photos and add them. So please don't ask for a transfer just to collect a surname. God Bless and Happy Hunting!!:)|

A note on copyright. My photos are here to benefit loved ones that are not able to take their own photos and to document the information on the stones. You may use my photos for your PERSONAL use. Please don't post them other places.

I am a Boyer and see that you have info regarding Peter & Maria Catherine Boyer. Can you tell me where you fit in/who you are descended from? Peter & Maria were my 4 greats grandparents--descended from Peter Boyer Jr and then William Rufus down to Lenard and Earl and then Karl.

Hey you are related to the Runkles from Maryland. We are cousins. On my fathers side. You know the Runkles group on Facebook. you should join because you are related. It gives you alot of info from other family members. Also the orginal name was Runckel. We are from Germany and have a family castle there. We came from Royalty.
Here you go:
Let me know what other info I can provide.
I'm not, but I saw their son Lyle's name on a list of unclaimed cremated remains that will be interred in a mass grave in about a month. Was hoping to connect with a family member that might be able to return him to Kansas for burial.

I am curious if you are related to Mr. and Mrs. Pounds.

Thanks, I'll try that link.

I too am documenting the cemeteries around me. So many are falling into ruin and names are being lost. No one should be forgotten.
I have two photo requests for the Hill cemetery. You are the only one who has submitted here. I was hoping you could help me to locate it. I have tried the internet and friends with no luck. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

At Memorial #
you wrote, "Sarah Kathleen Kepford was born in 1831 in Pennsylvania, the daughter of David & Mary Bortel Kepford. She married Nathan Munson Gray abt 1855 and they were the parents of Aaron J Gray, John Kepford Gray, Celestia Mary Gray, Alice Gray & Sarah Adaline Gray. Sarah died 17 Aug 1889 in Norton county, KS. Rest in Peace"
This is the first I've heard of Aaron J Gray being the son of Nathan and Sarah. Whats your source for that individual?

I don't know the answer to that for sure but ... I'm thinking they might have had different mothers. Sorry I can't answer that one for you.
