I live in Louisville, KY. When I work through a cemetery, I often add every name, even if the date of birth or death is not filled in. It's honestly hard to tell "pre-need" from those that just have a missing date, and if I post someone who is still alive, I sincerely apologize. If two people share one stone, I generally assume that they are spouses. Please send me a notification if you want any posting of mine updated, corrected, or removed, and I will act quickly. Any of my pictures may be freely used for non-commercial purposes. Please credit "Nirvana at Findagrave." Thank you. |
I've finished with: Zachary Taylor National Cemetery, Taylortown Cemetery, Allison Family Cemetery, Louisville Memorial Gardens, East, Harrods Creek Cemetery, the Floydsburg cemetery in Crestwood, and the Friend/Dailey Cemetery (Indiana).
Some of these cemeteries don't show 100% completion, and that's because people seem to add a lot of graves that don't really exist. Rest assured, if there is no photo posted from a cemetery I did, there is no headstone. I am pretty good about taking pictures.
At some point, I plan on tackling the Greenwood Cemetery in the west end, and the New Albany National Cemetery in Indiana.
Regarding edits: if you suggest them, I will approve them. It is my assumption that you know what you are talking about. I do not need any proof. That being said, please try to be right.

|Randy Largent||Bob Largen|
Thanks for linking him to the family
|James Brown||Garnet and Henry Head|
I see that somehow Garnet (140300012) and Henry (140299994) Head are linked as spouses twice. I didn't realize when I put in the request to link them as spouses, that Find A Grave would automatically link them as spouses again when I put in a request to link them to their son. Hope you can fix this! Thanks!

Thanks for all your work...
Would you mind transferring #146304442 to me?
|GRS||Adding the living to find a grave.|
I think what your doing is great accept for one thing.
If there is no death date you can't add to find a grave. It's against their rules.
I've found where you added my Aunt to find a grave along with other members and friends who are walking and breathing above ground. I had Find A Grave delete them.
You added me and my husband to find a grave, I didn't and don't appreciate you placing me and my husband under ground . Your making Find A Grave data base unreliable.
Please stop! Add the dead not the living !

|PJM||#3304533 photos need your reshuffle|
Thanks so much for the lovely photos. Finally got them on James B Rice's page, and posted to Edward J Peterson Jr's, too. Please reshuffle Edward's as his portrait needs to be upfront, I'm sure you agree.

|Jeannie Albers Lincoln||Mary R. Williams Memorial|
I see where you added Mary R. Williams #133352113 to her husband, Marion F. Williams, which I created. Mary R. Williams is my mom's sister and she just passed away yesterday. I went to add her on Find A Grave and connect her to her husband and I saw where you had put her in on July 26, 2014. Please transfer her memorial to me, so that I can manage it. I would appreciate it very much.

Hi, Just wanted to make a correction to the name on this memorial. It should read Clifford D (for Dean) Furman Sr. You can see in the picture that it is a D. He was my husband's uncle.
Thanks for all of the memorials to have added!
|Teresa Bennett||RE: Halley T Geis|
No problem! Thank you for the reply.
|Teresa Bennett||Halley T Geis|
Do you know if Halley had a son name John Eugene Geis? He recently passed away and Ancestry 1940 census has a Halley, Mary & John Geis. I am just unsure if I have the correct John Geis. John was 81 so that would make his birth about 1934.
Thank you so much
|PJM||Transfer request CORRECTED|
Where and how beist thou?
I see that I have repeatedly asked for the wrong memorial number for great uncle Jim in Zachary Taylor--it is actually # 3305170. PLEASE gift me with that transfer!
Thanks so much.
