I have been doing family history for over 45 years and I do understand that elation when one finds information about their family. For over 6 years now I have tried to do my share in documenting grave sites in any cemetery that I am near. I hope that my efforts have helped some to actually see the grave site of a family member that they never knew the location of or could never hope to visit. I spend many hours doing the photography and even cleaning up the weed choked sites. Also I go the extra mile and try to find more documentation and information about the person.
It is not my intent to construct an instant family tree for anyone to claim; but, please, do not minimize or negate the time and efforts I put forth. I am always cooperative in making corrections or adding information to a site but prefer not to make transfers except under certain circumstances.

Elizabeth Featherstone
Hi, I added another headstone for baby Elizabeth. It appears to be older, is broken off, and her last name was spelled Fetherstone. I took the photo near the headstone for Edith Beth Martin and Alice M. Martin as well as Alta Featherstone. If you would like for me to delete the photo just let me know.
Regards,
Brenda

RE: Cunningham, Thomas
Dear Kay,
Did you get my e-mails to your private address on aol.com? I have an ancestry.com account with the 1912 birthdate sourced on 1920 & 1930 Federal Census, his SSA, VA/BIRLS Death Record, Florida Death Record & ofcourse the Find A Grave Memorial. You have to be family to get his Florida Death Certificate which I'm not. As I mentioned, we did not know these folks personally. The 1910, 1920 & 1930 Census listed Findley & Rose as his parents. But if you'd be more comfortable, I'll remove their names from the Find A Grave Memorial. I have not found marriage records for Thomas & Faye yet, but since they're buried together, were most likely living together.
It's a puzzle :0)
Good to be thorough,
Jeanne

Thank you for the use of the photo! A few "trees" have his middle name as Scott but have not seen a different name.

Dear Kay,
Let me preface my comments with the fact that Faye Cunningham was a step-sister to my mother-in-law. None of us knew much about her until I found the 1st family of Harry Cunningham (my mother-in-law's step-father.)
You asked the question that always occurs to me, "How & where did Faye & Thomas meet?"
The where/Florida is the easiest because Faye lived there from the age of 19 until she died.
Her father Harry Cunningham & mother divorced in 1921. At which time, the 1st family joined their maternal grandmother in Miami, Dade, FL.
I don't know the exact date Faye & Thomas married yet. It had to be after the last FL State Census taken in 1945 when Faye was still single, living with her mother.
Thomas enlisted in the Air Force in 1939 and was released in 1959.
I can only suppose he was either stationed in Florida at some point or decided to retire there after 1959.
His birth year varies from 1909 to 1912. All his official death documents go with 1912, but one phone directory in Florida went with 1911. The 1910 Federal Census listed him as 6 months old in April. The reason for these differences could have been a delay in registration of his birth? Do you know?
Well, those are the facts I've gathered. Thank you for writing me. I hope we have the same person. The Federal Census of 1910, 1920 & 1930 list his parents as Findley & Rose Cunningham in Beaver City, Furnas, Nebraska.
Good Luck,
Jeanne Thomson

Lorenz Kirschner
I was wondering if you could correct the birth date on my great grandfathers memorial. He was born in 1830 not 1836-I actually went to Innsbruck Austria and did research and have a copy of his birth certificate listing his father as Joseph Anton Kirschner and mother Brigitta Grutch Kirschner
Thank you

I have checked out a book on the "residents" of the Cary Cemetery.

This is infant child of Sallie Elizabeth Cary Farr and her husband ? Farr. She's the infant granddaughter of Thomas Sherman & Malinda Ellen Finley Cary.

Colvell photo
I appreciate the photo of Colvell.

Thank you for all your work helping many who are trying to connect with their ancestry. I have been photographing a local Veterans Cemetery of more than 50,000 - so far I and one other have uploaded about 70% of the cemetery so I very much appreciate your efforts

Mable Guhl
I have a vintage photo titled "Aunt Mable Guhl". Unfortunately there are 2 Mable Guhl buried in Wisconsin who are the right age. If a friend or family member can confirm which Mable she is I would be glad to add her photo at no cost to the grave site. If someone want to purchase the photo I would sell it. Contact me.
