Bio and Links
Bio Photo Each time I create a memorial I delight in thinking that it may someday provide comfort to a loved one or valuable information to a genealogist.

Transfers - Please use the "Edit" tab on the memorial, send a "Suggest a Correction" including your "ID number", I'm more than happy to transfer memorials to their RELATIVES.

If FAMILY MEMBERS wish to have a memorial deleted I will do so, no questions asked.

Some dates/names on the headstones are hard to read. If you can help, please click the Edit tab at the top and input the changes. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated in the completion of "Unknown" and incomplete memorials.

Thank you to everyone that made finding and documenting all the cemeteries in Forty Mile County possible. Thank you Kathie for making the many dusty gravel roads we travelled together so much fun!! Collaboration is wonderful and makes any project much more enjoyable.

The Alberta Genealogical Society - Lethbridge Branch gave me access to its Mountain View Cemetery records so unmarked graves and grave locations could be added to FindAGrave. AGS (Lethbridge) has a phenomenal amount of info on file including neatly catalogued obituaries - please support them, if possible. Thanks to all AGS members!!

I would like to thank the Vulcan & District Historical Society for giving me access to all of the Vulcan County Cemetery records and the amazing support of my main contact in that group. WOW!!!!

Thank you as well to everyone that made it possible for me to create memorials for burials at Mountain View and Garden View Cemeteries in Calgary.

Volunteers spend countless hours photographing/ creating memorials and appreciate knowing their efforts are appreciated. I know I do.

RE: Transfer Management
My name is Glen Krisher #47980761 and on 25 Dec. 2014 I made the following edits to my Aunt Laura O. Willian's # 28749560 memorial.
A. Her place of birth: Hansboro, Towner County,
B. Her father was: William Henry Krisher
C. Her mother was: Charlotte Elizabeth Cherry
Krisher # 138687842
D. Her middle name was: Orilla
E. Her maiden name was: Krisher
My father Lawrence E. Krisher #138687846 was
Laura O. Willian's sister.
I would also like you, if possible, to transfer management of my Aunt's memorial to me: Glen Krisher # 47980761. I am sorry, I am not able to do as you requested in your Email. I can not find where I can input my ID number when I suggest a "edit" or correction. At this time when I click "edit" all I get is: "There is already a pending edit submitted by you.
I hope the above information will help to clear up this matter. Sorry for the inconvenience. Glen Krisher

Thank you sooo much for making this transfer. I truly appreciate it. Now busy finding where his parents are buried in Toronto, but no records yet.

William Cullen "George" Bryant
Hi Yvonne

Thanks so much for the links. I had found that book online a year or two ago, and found stories about our Bryant's in several places.

I suspect Earl and the children were used to their Father using the name "George". I had the feeling he wasn't comfortable about having the name of a famous author.

We have some family books about our Bryant's. I'm finding some historical information is likely wrong, so I've been researching to try to better document the Bryant ancestry.

If you're connected to our Bryant family, I'd be happy to discuss more with you by email.

Thanks and Merry Christmas!! Tom McMillan (Washington State)

RE: Thank you
Hi Yvonne - I guess I'm sort of crazy because I've always thought maybe it might be rude to ask for a transfer of a memorial - when someone else did all the work, suddenly it looks like I get the credit, lol....maybe that is the wrong way to see it. I do appreciate having the management of these memorials. It's like reuniting families, somehow. Feels like my ancestors are smiling. :-)

Thank you
....for transferring Neil and Malcolm McLeod to me. I've been working hard at accurately linking the family back together - which I realize has resulted in lots of edits. I appreciate your gesture, thank you!

Thank you for transferring Randi Lynn to me. She is my cousin and I thank you for adding her memorial to Find A Grave. I knew she died in Calgary but didn't know where she was buried.

McClain headstone photos
Thank you so much for taking all the McClain headstone photos in the Alberta cemeteries - they have been very helpful in researching the McClain family. We're very distantly related to this line. Very interesting that this part of the family moved to Alberta.
