I became interested in genealogy through listening to stories told by my grandmother. I will be glad to photograph tombstones in Clay, Talladega, and Calhoun Counties in Alabama, but only have time to do this during the summer. My primary names are Dean, Hudson, Carpenter, Patterson, Grogan, Short, Hampton. My husband's surnames are Boling, Neely, and Humphries. Please feel free to use any of the photos I have taken. If you wish for me to transfer any of my memorials to you, please let me know. Unless I am a direct descendent, I will gladly transfer them to you.

RE: Tinnie Caldwell
I am not a relative, just happened to have the newspapers for that time frame and thought I'd send some added info. Thanks for the work you do on Findagrave!

John Sanders Howell Photo

You took a photo of my grandfather's grave. First of all, thank you! I have a question. There is a stone that you took a picture of that says Howell and Navy Seal. Is that a monument for the family or does this mean that my grandfather was a navy seal?

Any information about the formulation of the the tombstones would be great.

RE: Catherine Deloach Grogan
I am actually kin to the Deloach family. I was not sure if this person was a Catherine from the Deloach that I didn't have yet. Other information may not be needed if this is not the case. Thank you for your response.

You are so sweet, Mrs. Bee. Thank you so much for taking the time to take the picture and upload it. It looks great to me so please don't feel that you need to retake it. I really appreciate you contacting me.

Take care and God bless you.
