RE: Louise Amelia Gardner
Sorry, I forgot she comes up under her married last name Louise Amelia Gardner Adams, #52986218.
She is buried at Park Hill Cemetery and Mausoleum. I have been trying to locate her parents without any success. I know her sister Clara Gardner Valvo is also buried there as well, 54557153. Her other sister Emma Gardner Garbars is also buried there, 64547861. So I was hoping her parents were there too.

Louise Amelia Gardner
Hello Jim and Lori,

I am wondering if you possibly know if Louise Amelia Gardner's parents Harvey & Lena Schultz Gardner are also buried somewhere in the same cemetery? I have search for them but have been unable to locate them anywhere.

I was also wondering if there was a Ida Denny Gardner buried there as well. She was Harvey S. Gardner's first wife. I think it maybe possible Ida is actually Louise Amelia's mother. As Harvey S. Gardner and Helena (Lena) Schultz were married after Louise Amelia Gardner was born. Ida Denny and Harvey S Gardner were married 7/20/1894 in Bloomington, Mclean, Illinois. Helena (Lena) Schultz and Harvey S Gardner were married 11/22/1897 in Bloomington, McLean, Illinois.

Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to provide.

Hi Jim & Lori,

Thank you for all the pictures that you post of grave markers!!

I have ancestors that you have posted pictures for. I am requesting your permission to use them in my genealogy database and a possible book (years from now) that will be given to family members. I would credit you as having taken the pictures.

Their names is Richard C. Gaines and his wife Amy S. (Hinman) Gaines; Charles A. Gaines and his wife; Thomas Bollan and his wife Ida (Gaines) Bollen. Richard C. Gaines is my husband's 3rd Great grandfather.

Thanks again,

Linda Rogers

RE: Joseph Gilmore
I think the M. O. date must have been a typo by whoever entered the info. It is the same M. O. date as William Gillmore's [sic], who is listed right before him in the source. It seems reasonable that they could have mustered in together, though, so I don't find that date so suspect. As I noted, I confirmed his rank as a Corporal with a second source. Hope this helps!
