Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching some of the 36,000 + Army Air Forces personnel who died in the line of duty, of non-combat causes during the World War II era in service-related accidents. It is said that more
than 15,500 Army airmen were killed in airplane accidents between 1941 and 1946, within the borders of the U.S. and it's territories. They gave their all and died in the service of their country, but received no purple hearts and virtually no mention in the history books and have largely been forgotten by time.

I have taken photos of probably more than 10,000 names in the Manila American Cemetery in the Philippines, but I do not have time to upload them. Anyone willing to volunteer to upload some of them is appreciated. If you would like to know some statistics about the cemetery, click on my photo I display here.

For corrections, additions, or requests for transfer of memorial, please use the Edit tab, and select Suggest a Correction or Provide Additional Information to make any update requests. It is much easier to handle the issue this way, rather than a personal message.

I am happy to update any memorial, including family links. But I DO NOT like adding census information, copies of death certificates and please do not add long obituaries to the "photo" area. The information can be condensed and pasted into the bio area. If you don't have the time to type out the obituary, just email it to me. I will add it and give you credit for finding it.
I appreciate any information that can "round out" someone's bio.

Thank you so much, Tim. The lighting that time of day often doesn't cooperate, but the photos look wonderful. Actually, that time of day is my favorite whether to take pictures or to dream of all things beautiful.

RE: Thank You!
I'm not a descendant of Mortimer Reynolds--my gg-grandfather served with Reynolds in the Civil War--but I can take control of his children's memorial pages if you'd like to pass them on.
Thanks again for all your great work!

my uncle Lt. Maurice M. Miller
We need to add my uncle to your list of air corps accidents. He was LAS on dec 11th 1941 out of Puerto Rico transporting air craft from Florida to PR. How do we get this done?

Herbert K. Berdan
RE: Lieut H.K Berdan in Flint Memorial Park.
I was unable to get a good picture worth posting due to flood waters over the marker along with a glare. I will happily return for another attempt but, I'm afraid the snow will fall before the waters recede. Remind me; they (he, along with his parents) are in 1st row by the "rest area". I do have info from the markers: Herbert born:12/11/1917 (you have 1916)Died:10/27/1943. His mother Florence I. born: 02/04/1874 Died: 05/07/1957 and father Leslie B. Born:07/25/1872 Died:10/9/1945. Herbert does NOT have any military metals or such near his marker. His marker does indicate the military info you have on his memorial page.

Tim, yesterday you posted a photo that I requested for Ronald W. Glanzer - # 52288015. I just added a memorial for his wife, Ruth Darien Monter Glanzer - #137369248. Would you mind adding a photo to her memorial, too? If you prefer I can click on request a photo. Thanks a lot!

Thanks for the great headstone photos you attached to the memorial page of Mortimer Reynolds (Arapaho Cemetery). I appreciate your help in memorializing this Civil War veteran.
