Mark is Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the University of Utah. He has helped Jim add photos and build tools for use by Find a Grave contributors. He met Find A Grave's creator, Jim, at a Midnight Oil concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 1990 and then randomly during the next two years, mostly wandering around the town where they went to college. They proceeded to meet again 7 years later when Mark and his wife Susie moved to Salt Lake where Jim and his wife live. Today, Jim and Mark are in a rock and roll band called the lonelyGnomes with friends.|
Mark's favorite pasttimes are working on the many projects in the 1902 bungalow that he and Susie own and live in with their two children, taking large format photographs, playing guitar, catching up on all the movies he has missed in the past 3 years by subscribing to Netflix, and making slow progress reading books for 10 minutes before he passes out every night.

|Mary S.||RE: John Edward St. Andre|
I'm so sorry I didn't reply sooner. I didn't get an email for your message, and only just saw it.
I have, in fact, photographed ALL of the Calvary (not Calgary) section. I've photographed virtually all of St. Pat's cemetery, and try to keep up with new additions, too.
I suspect your grandfather's grave is unmarked. I notice that Sophronie's memorial has no photo either, which means I entered it from the death record, not from a grave marker. When you called, did you happen to ask where Sophronie is buried? Is she near John?
I should be able to get to the cemetery in the next few days (if someone doesn't beat me to it from your photo request) and I'll take a look. I'll have to try to get there when Jack is there, though. If the grave is unmarked, he'll still know just where it is.
In the meantime, I've taken the liberty of creating a memorial for your grandfather, based on the information you gave me. That will give us a place to post photos and GPS for you.
BTW, as to the 88%, there are many unmarked graves in this cemetery. There is, in fact, another entire section which had wooden, metal and concrete markers, which are all long gone. Unfortunately, there are also no records of some of these early burials, because records were lost when the cemetery was transferred from the Springfield Diocese to Worcester. A survey was apparently done at some point, but, by then, most of those markers were gone or illegible. So the percentage will NEVER be 100%, much as that pains me. However, that should not affect your search, at least.
I'll let you know how I fare.

You and I each have a memorial for Joseph Berry. Mine is number 59773. Yours is number 5106609.
A relative of Mr. Berry has contacted me and and he would contact you. Has he? He'd like to have one of the duplicates deleted. I have no objection.
Your full headstone photo is superior to mine.
My memorial is one I took over from the Utah State Historical Society.
What do you suggest?

Would you link George with his wife, Doris Rachel Johnson Whitney, 47430177 and his parents,
Charles Edwin Whitney #13337401 and Edna M Ham Whitney #13337403? Thanks, Sherry.
Trying to get all 11 children linked...4 more to go.

Would it be possible to get this transferred to me?
|Mark Scott||Mistaken transfer|
Mr. St. Andre,
Today another researcher transferred several memorials to me but I think transferred one to you in error. This person transferred the memorial of Constantine Eisinger (#44383375) to you but that of the wife, Helen Clayton (Latterner) Eisinger to me. I am related to the Eisingers and I think she made a mistake sending Constantine's memorial to you.
Would you be so kind as to transfer management of Constantine's memorial to me, Mark Scott (researcher #46804505)?
Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience,
