Augusta A. Parker VanSyckel Name Accuracy
Hello Sharon,
Thank you for taking the time to post this person. She was my 3rd great grandmother on my mother's mother's side. I've a photo of her, a copy of her obit and I've visited her grave site but the photo is too large to post. I will work on adjusting that to post at a later date.
You have her name wrong. It is actually Ellen August Parker VanSyckle. She went by August from all accounts.
Her father, Danford Parker was born 1825 in New York and died 1897 in Michigan. Her mother, Mary Ann Taft Parker was born 1829 in Massachusetts and dies in 1898 in Michigan.
Bother of Ellen Augusta's parents are buried at the Van Kearen Cemetery, Oceola, Livingston County, Michigan. I have visited both of their grave sites as well.
I hope this information is helpful to you.
Thank you again for your work on this families information.
Sincere Regards,
Robin

Hi Sharon - the last few, for quite a while, are posted - names beginning with F-G-J-L. There were just a few.

You won't be seeing more until sometime in March. Those will be surnames beginning with H. There's about 400+ of those & it will take some time to get the plot locations added and spouse links made. Plus, the de-duper program run on the cemetery didn't catch them all, so I'm eliminating the rest as I find them.

If it looks like the same conditions as last year, maybe "H" will wait until April. That's your call !

Hope you're all well, and staying warm.

RE: Adams et all
Hi, Try looking at the memorials for Dorothy & Leon Adams. I may have fixed the problem but since they looked fine to me all along, I can't tell.

RE: Adams et all
I just found another message from someone saying the pictures I posted are sideways on the memorials. The odd thing is there is also a string of messages from people who from what they are saying seem to be seeing the pictures normally. I haven't done anything different and when I look at all the memorials, I'm seeing all the pictures normally. I'm going to check with my "experts" and see if they can figure it out. I'll get back to you......Glenn

RE: Adams et all
Sideways? No they are all vertical from what I am seeing. You're seeing them sideways on the memorials?

Different Cemetery listed
You have Philander Gregory listed in Williamsville Cem. with a photo... but there is another man -- Randy Gladstone that has the same information posted on Plainfield Cemetery Mem. # 52408824. Your photo is also shown on his listing...

Just wondering what cemetery is he really buried in ??

Thanks
