“There are three deaths. The first is when the body ceases to function. The second is when the body is consigned to the grave. The third is that moment, sometime in the future, when your name is spoken for the last time.”

I NEED YOUR HELP: Check out the virtual cemetery on the right. Maybe you can help finding these folks' final resting places.

Born in Germany in the 60's and growing up in Berlin and Munich, I now live in Central New York. I started my own genealogy in the 70's, then did my High School and College thing in the 80's, and came to the US in the 90's. Now I am taking pictures for fun and business. Some of the photos I post are digitally enhanced, so the lettering on older grave markers is easier to read. The information on FINDAGRAVE is provided by thousands of volunteers. Please let's not forget we are all volunteers. I take exception with those volunteers who say their photos are copyrighted. Why take photos if you're not going to share them with everyone? My photos are free to anyone who wants to copy them for non-profit purposes, no need to ask. A credit to FINDAGRAVE would be nice. After all, they are just photos of grave markers, not the Mona Lisa!

If you find errors on any of my submitted items, please be so kind and let me know so I can correct those. It's important for all of us hobby-family-researchers and historians to remain accurate in the data we publish. Always glad to transfer memorials following the FaG's guidelines. Just send me a SAC: Click on the memorial's EDIT tab, then on "Suggest any other correction or addition", that way I get your number and that of the memorial.

When researching European names, pay specific attention to the spelling, especially when uncommon letters are involved. In German there are those "Umlaute": Ä, Ö, Ü, ä, ö, ü.
Do not assume that Schäfer and Schaefer are the same. And Boeck is not the same as Böck.

Search for European Nobility with and without prefix, e.g. Friedrich von Bayern or Friedrich Bayern. Frederick of Bavaria or Frederick Bavaria. For Dutch names with the "van" search with and without space: "VanAusten" and "Van Austen".

I welcome every message left for me, but will delete them after I read and acted upon them. I like my member page "clutter-free", I am German after all. Giggle.

Thank You,
Frank 💐

Elizabeth L. White (1898-2002)
Thank you Frank for your Find-a-Grave posting. Your well-written page mentions a surviving nephew John White. I've been working on descendants of the famous Sgt. John White, friend of Buffalo Bill Cody and the Color-Sergeant who placed the Stars & Stripes on San Juan Hill in 1898. As this Elizabeth was his daughter, this nephew John must be Sgt. White's grandson but I don't have him in my study. Do you know if he was the son of Frank, John or George and his approx. DOB or anything else about him? I appreciate any help you can give me as this family is not well-documented and I have to dig hard for info. Steve Herrick

Kerrin Lorenzen Roeloffs
Guten Morgen lieber Frank,
Lorenzen. Ob mit "tz" ? Ihr Sohn J.Rörd Lorentzen ( GRL 219,214 5 ) führt das " tz" .

Kerrin Lorenzen Roeloffs # 145693713
war die Tochter von:

Larrentz Jürgens ( 1732-1797 )#171710369

Kerrin J.Rörden Lorentzen (1735 -1813 )#171710248

Danke für deine Aufmerksamkeit !
