Going forward, unless there is a compelling reason, I will only transfer listings of people someone knew closely, i.e. parent, child or close friend. I'm sorry, but someone who died 200 years ago could be related to thousands of people. I prefer you add one of my listings under your umbrella using the virtual cemetery feature at Find A Grave. If you have additional information, I will happily add it and list you as the contributor.
Also, please do not ask me add an obituary to a person's memorial. see Find A Grave policy below:
Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
It is best to not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices from memorial records.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed.

I was recently requested to photograph the head stone for Liet Lafferty at Harleigh Cemetery in Camden, NJ. I was directed to the family plot to discover that there was no visible stone for Lieut Lafferty. On his memorial page you stated the inscription. When/where did you get this information? I am concerned that I might have the wrong William Lafferty. Please advise. Pat

Great! Thank you!

I have emailed Mr. Frankenfield twice requesting a check dates or new photo; once he said he was going to, the second, no reply.
I am more interested in the grave date rather than the paper date; I have the paper date and I just wanted to check discrepancies.
I am further away than you are in WV! I don't want you wandering around the entire cemetery either; just not sure how to best go about this.
If you find yourself at the Hays Cemetery sometime soon, possibly wander the graves and see if you see that one. I can't tell if it is a slab grave by the picture, or if it is standing free form.
Thanks for your time and for responding.
I was wondering if you could help me?
I really would like to submit an ancestor to the DAR as a Revolutionary Patriot.
His name was Philip Odenwelder.
He had a daughter named Elizabeth, who married John Best.
Elizabeth, according to the baptism records was born March 5.
Her grave record says her birthday is March 26; or at least according to Gravestones of Northampton County.
John Best died in 1823 and his dates are correct.
DAR has really increased their standards and we are uncertain they will accept her as a daughter of Philip Odenwelder based on those few days discrepancy.
I don't have/cannot find a record of their marriage that states she is an Oldenwelder; I am going by dates alone.
I am wondering if the date on the tombstone is wrong; or the transcription?
From my understanding, you posted the picture of John and Elizabeth's gravestone in Hays Cemetery.
Is there any way you could retake the picture so that the dates are more readable/can be confirmed for Elizabeth?
Her death date is proven by documents as 1815. That is confirmed.
It looks like it is a double grave from the picture.
I would appreciate it if you could help in anyway!
Thanks for your time,
Thank you so much.

James C. Jacobus & wf Margaret Berry are some of my ancestors so I wish to thank you for all your hard work & efforts creating so many memorials for individuals unrelated to you.
Those of us distantly located from where our ancestors are buried benefit greatly from efforts such as yours and so few of us take the time to properly than you for creating these memorials without which the majority of us would never get to "visit" our ancestors' final resting places nor even know where they are buried.
So again, a heartfelt "Thanks" for all you do!
