Just a note on the interments and photos. Some are family, some are friends and MANY others are people that I did not know. If you find any errors or want to add information to the person, please let me know.
I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and have been working on genealogy for over 40 years.
I enjoy just driving into a cemetery and reading the headstones and wondering about the history of the person.
I would be willing to take or retake a 'close up' photos of headstones in the cemeteries around Metro Denver.
At the present time we are working on Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. It might be a life long job but enjoying the challange.
I would be happy to transfer ownership of a record that I have added, if they are family and have more information that they would like to add.
WE WILLINGLY MAKE TRANSFERS WITHIN THE 4 GENERATION "FIND A GRAVE" GUIDELINES WHICH ARE: Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grand-children, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for EACH transfer. PLEASE STATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED.
For EXTENDED FAMILY MEMBERS, (aunts, uncles, cousins) we will gladly make additions, corrections or links. PLEASE USE the "EDIT" TAB on the upper right side of the memorial to send the information and please send the memorial numbers for links.
Our thanks to all of you who have sent additional information for the memorials.
If you 'find' one of your family member that has a photo of the headstone, I would love to hear from you.
Sincerely,
S.McCoskey | |

 | Nelma E. Brown Ft. Logan Cemetery When you have time, would you be able to take a photo of Nelma E. Brown's side of her husband's marker? The cemetery office informed me that she has a marker only her information is inscribed on the back of her husband's marker. His name is Paul K. Brown and they are in Section 10 site 679. I would appreciate a photo with her information place on Nelma's Find A Grave page. Thank you. | | | Leon Barton

 | Sidewalk chalk/ Joe Bacino Tell me about using sidewalk chalk! I have a big tub in the garage that my grandchildren love to use to decorate my boring drive way. By the way so glad you are the you I was looking for! KathleenAdded by Kathleen on Jun 05, 2013 8:07 PM | | | Kathleen
 | 103590880 Joe Bacino I clicked submit without making a note of your name, opps! I took the initial picture of the stone knowing it was very hard to read. It is very near a sprinkler. Water for the cemetery comes from an irrigation ditch, it is untreated Arkansas river water and very hard. Because the stone is flat the minerals have been building up for years. I returned to the cemetery with water and paper towels to gently clean it but that made no difference. Just pouring water on the stone gave the best photo. Sorry it turned out to be so difficult to read. Are you working just on Vet's graves or is this your family? There are 5 other Bacino graves nearby. They had the same pink roses probably from Memorial Day. I took photos of those. Someone had made memorials for them so I added the photos. The lot card indicates the lot owner was Frank Bacino. I added him as well as Carl, Peter A., Isabella and Mary if you are interested. Joseph's grave has an American flag placed near it as well as the pink roses that the rest of the family has. It would have been nice in the photo but I couldn't make that happen! So glad you posted the headstone application. I wanted to explain why my photo is so bad! I also hope you made the original photo request or you'll think I crazy!Added by Kathleen on Jun 05, 2013 11:05 AM | | | B.J. Waters
 | RE: Paul Booth Oh! I thought you were maybe referring to a Killed In Action website! Thanks for clarifying that.

 | RE: Paul Booth You're welcome. What is a KIA page? Will this photo appear somewhere other than Find A Grave?
