I married Gary Arthur Destromp (son of Harry and Marjorie (Barkyoumb) Destromp) on Feb 14th, 1970, at St Ann's Church in Milton Vermont and we have 2 grown children, daughter: Audra-Dawn (Destromp) St. Amour and her husband John Adam St. Amour and son: PFC Scott Alan Destromp [United States Army] and one grand son: Ethan.

For the last number of years I have photographed a huge volume of cemeteries all over the state of Vermont and I add them all to Find a Grave.

Just a few surnames in my family list: Blow/Bleau, Caswell, Carrow/Caron Beshaw/Aubuchon, D'escoteaux, Provo/Provost, Lafountaine/Lafountain, Destromp/Destrempes, Barkyoumb/Berthiaume, Gordon, King, Mercier, Francis, Gilbeau/Guilbault, Nolan/Nolin, Muir, Miller, Bessette, St. Amour, Fleece, Everest, Sanderson, Bigelow, White, Whittemore.

My husband served 6 1/2 years in the US Navy, from Nov 1967-May 1974..(1969-77 he was stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, serving aboard the USS Cochrane DDG 21 (1969-1970) and USS Benjamin Stoddert DDG 22 (1970-1975) and had 4 Western Pacific tours of Duty).

PLEASE NOTE: I will add any information, bio's, links, etc on request and I usually add as soon as I receive them, and will do this in your behalf..

HOW WILL I BE REMEMBERED?
By: Alice E Chase

What will they say about me
Those whom I hold so Dear?
What will they Remember
When I'm no longer here?

Will they recall mistakes I've made
Battles I never won?
Moments of pain I've caused them
Things I have left Undone?

Will they censor my human failings
And wish I'd been noble and strong?
Will they scoff at the hopes I nurtured
The dreams that some how went wrong?

Or will they be moved by compassion
Directed from Heaven above
To temper their judgment with kindness
and soften their memories with Love!

Alva Chaffee @ Center Cemetery
Hi and thank you for entering the Chaffee Memorials. I show Alva's birthdate as 16 Aug 1796. If you could add that in I'd greatly appreciate it.

Also have you seen this link:

I sometimes use it if a stone gives the exact age at death.

RE: Mary Riveaney Champangne
No problem! There is some confusion as to what her REAL name really is.... she is listed on several records with several different variations of her name! She was born Marie Emelie (Mary Amelia in English) Choiniere and then on her marriage record she is listed as Mary Riveaney and then on her childrens birth and death records she is listed as Mary "Sweeney" which is apparently the (Vermont) English version of Marie Emelie Choiniere ...so our family is calling her Marie Emelie "Mary" Riveaney "Sweeney" Champagne!

Thank you so much for the photo!!!!!

KEEFE STONES AT HOLY ROSARY CEMETERY.
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR WORK. I STARTED ABOUT A YEAR AGO WORKING ON OUR FAMILY TREE. THE KEEFE'S ARE MY HUSBANDS FAMILY. CHARLES AND MARY CAME TO NORTH AMERICA VIA THE PORT OF MONTREAL IN 1837 AND HEADED SOUTH. I CONSIDER THEM AS THE START OF OUR FAMILY AS I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE IRELAND FAMILY. TO FIND PICTURES OF THEIR RESTING PLACE AND PICTURES OF SO MANY OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS WAS SUCH A GIFT. THANKS AGAIN.

RE: Northrop
Thanks Barb, I appreciate your updating those memorials. I'll be sending you more updates from time to time as I get additional information on them. I think there's almost 50 Northrop's in Bradley Cemetery and who knows how many other surnames that are related or decendants. Thanks Again, Paul
