Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have worked in family history for over 50 years. I was introduced to Findagrave and started adding photos and data to my ancestors that already had a memorial. I am in the process of adding memorials of those members of our family that are in the cemetery but did not have a memorial. I am also trying to link families together. (Pencil sketch by Dale Duke in 1993.)

Hannah Thomsen is Johanna Martinez "Hannah" Thomsen Christensen they are the same person, when she came to America she used the American version of Johanna. Hope that helps.

Where do you fit in the Haws family? I went to grade school with Donna Van Otten Haws.

RE: Pope memorials
Sorry I never responded, it's been kind of busy. I will be gladly to take them over. I will look through and see who you have and let you know. Thanks

Squire Pope
Awesome! You are welcome! I have it as Sally Angel, per the book "Genealogy of Thomas Pope (1608-1883) and his descendants" by Dora Pope Worden. If you Google it, you would be able to read it. I have found it to be very informative and it traces the Pope line back to the late 1500's and I have found that Henry Wadsworth Longfellow is a distant Pope.
I am not familiar with the Family Tree/Family Search, I have everything on Squire Pope is something like my first cousin eight times removed (no clue what the whole removed thing is). I am the 10X great grandson of whom that book is written about. Gershom Pope is the brother to my 6x great grandfather.

RE: George Turner
Yes, I remember you. Your note made me think you might be related to George. He went to school with my husband. Keep up the good work.

George Turner
I have a memorial for George. I noticed you note with a flower. Are you related to him?

Cannot be son of Goldie Sanford
If this guy was born in 1912, he definitely was NOT the son of Goldie Sanford and Melville Nihart! Goldie was born in 1900 in Ohio. She would have only been 12 years old at the time of birth of this individual. That would have been highly unlikely, since she hadn't even met Mell Nihart at that time, even disregarding her tender age. Either the dob is incorrect, or you have the wrong individual. Not to mention the name is wrong. Have you court records to prove a name change? I'm researching the family - if I find anything further I will post it here.

Thank you Sun Florwer Lady for attaching the wonderful pictures of my 2nd great-grandmother.
The bio was good, but one clarification would be that Lars Rove Jensen was serving a mission in Scotland and taught Sister Agnes Work (?) Smith and brought her back to America. Married her in SL before going home to St. George. Agnes prosperity is ever grateful for the gospel in their lives and being able to come to Zion in America.
