*****On March 25, 2013, my father, Johnny Mar Wells passed from this earthly world to the kingdom of Heaven. I would like to thank Brian Presley for sponsoring Dad's memorial. What a blessing his kind gesture is to me. *****|
***I am currently researching every memorial I have to find any information that can make the memorial more valuable to others. As of 10/29/2013, research is complete at Cerulean Cemetery, Wall Cemetery, Robertson-Hite, Jeff Stewart in Trigg County, and Bainbridge Grove Cemetery, Adams, and Hale Cemetery in Christian. It's a long process, but I feel it's well worth it. If I have made any errors, please let me know.***
First, I do not know why people have to be so mean and cruel on here. I am not a mean person. I do the things I do on here to help. Making sure that people are buried in the correct places, trying to make sure there are no duplicate memorials...I am only here to find my family, but spend countless hours helping others - BECAUSE IT IS WHAT I ENJOY DOING. If you've not stepped foot in Christian County or Trigg County, then don't assume that you know more about a cemetery.
Family names- Stewart, Turner, Wells and Boren Families from the Christian County/Trigg County, KY Area. Those names lead me to Goodwin, Haydon, Larkins, Atwood and so many more in the Trigg County area. And from Smith County, TN the Murray/Gibbs Family. The Murray line has led me to the Gross, Madden, Hewitt, Ferguson, Blossom, Roe and so many more names....
I am from Christian County, Kentucky. I lived in Cerulean (Trigg Co.), Gracey, and Hopkinsville my entire life until 13 years ago when I moved to Tennessee.
So everyone understands my memorials I enter...every memorial I have entered, I am either kin to or have walked the cemetery and taken the picture in hopes to help someone else. I am not a NUMBERS kind of Find A Grave member. I am a GENEALOGY kind of Find A Grave member. I don't like people who are rude and numbers people. It's about OUR family history being done correct. I have ran into the most wonderful people on here (they are my friends on here) who are SO very willing to help out, and then just like in life, I have ran into the not so willing.
One more thing, I do NOT enter in memorials out of a book. I do have the current Trigg County Cemetery book that I use as a reference. If anyone needs anything looked up, I would be more than happy to do that for you. I could play the numbers game as well, but I am just not about it. However, if you need something looked up, please leave me a message!
I now maintain the majority of the memorials in Robertson-Hite Cemetery in Trigg County, Ky. Kathleen Boyd transferred them all to me after I requested the Larkins to be transferred. She maintains a lot of memorials as she has taken on her husband's since he went home to be with the Lord. I will honor and maintain each memorial with the highest respect. If you would like a memorial transferred to you, as long as they are not related to me, I will be happy to do so if they are your kin.
My son, Cole, who is 14, enjoys genealogy just as much as I do. He goes on trips with me to the cemeteries. He loves to do the photo requests that may be there. Otherwise, he is just as into finding out our history. My youngest son, Noah, who is 12, is getting over his fear of cemeteries quickly!
When I go to a cemetery that has my family members in it, I enjoy taking pictures of the entire cemetery (time permitting). I do not have any issues with anyone taking and using my pictures of the headstones that are in your family tree. However, if I have added pics of a person, please ask before you use them. If I have added a member of your family tree to Find A Grave and it is NOT in my tree, I will be more than happy to transfer it to you. I take pics and add memorials to Find a Grave in hopes that it helps someone else find who they are looking for as well. If anyone has information on any memorial that I have added,please send me a note thru the edit link on the memorial. I will be happy to update/link family members. It's about our history.....keeping everyone together for our future generations to have.
If you have time, please visit some of my family and leave flowers.

Lord, help me dig into the past
And sift the sands of time,
That I might find the roots that made
This family tree of mine.
Lord, help me trace the ancient roads
On which my father's trod,
And led them through so many lands
To find our present sod.
Lord, help me find an ancient book
Or dusty manuscript,
That's safely hidden now away
In some forgotten crypt.
Lord, let it bridge the gap that haunts
My soul when I can't find,
The missing link between some name
That ends the same as mine.

I would like to share information on James McQuary's wife, Mary Caroline, with you, if you would like it
|Lori Garland||Benjamin Franklin|
I had a question that might be fun to find, I was told I was related to Benjamin Franklin through my Grandma Bennie Garland, who was a Bennie Henderson, I noticed, her parents are the James Alexander and Nancy Buhler Henderson, and I noticed Stephen Buhler and Laura Franklin, how would I go about finding the record to show the family line to Benjamin Franklin?
|Lori Garland||friend request|
I looked up on facebook, but I wasn't sure how you have your name spelled on there, mine is located under Lori Garland in Fayetteville North Carolina if that is a easier way to find me:)
|Lori Garland||RE: Alexander and Nancy Buhler Hendrson|
I'll look you up on facebook and send you a friend request :) Thanks so much :)

Thank you soooo much Brandy! you gave me more information that I have ever been able to find. I will record both of the orbits you posted, hopefully I can have or add the information on myself. Means a lot to me, and to find out, my Grandpa had a brother named Lorry, almost like mine lol, this I never knew, as well as the Mrs. Guy Vinson, I just found her son on my facebook page, and found out we were long lost cousins, so this really ties everything together. Thanks you so much again! Happy Thanksgiving! :)

Hi Brandy, I have you on my friend's list now. I was wondering if you could help me. I have my Grandma Bennie Lee Garland in my virtual cemetery "The Garlands" and I found out that her parents were a Alexander, and Nancy Buhler Henderson. I have been searching for their graves, but I haven't found any information out on them, would you be able to locate their orbit? Thanks so much.
|Brian Presley||Here it is, we knew it was coming, right?|
Well, here it is upon us, that first Holiday season without them. I have not been on this site as much just lately but I do pop in now and then and have a look around. I pray that you and your family are comforted this Thanksgiving and Christmas with the knowledge that your Dad is just on the other side of a doorway that we'll all pass through one day. That is not helping much here, to be honest, but not everything in life is meant to be easy. Please know that I wish your family a warm and happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you so much for the obituary and transfer of Daniel Finis Gates. I am related to all of the Gates' buried there. I hope to take a trip to Kentucky next summer I would like to visit some of the cemeteries and graves were my kin are buried. Some of my grandparents are buried in the two Gates' Cemeteries that are located south of Greenville on highway 831 I can't find much info on the cemeteries and don't know if they are still there, but still want to look for them.
Thank you once again,
Phineas A. Gates

It looks like I have a duplicate memorial later than yours per the following message:
Find A Grave contributor Brandy Wells Murray has made a suggestion to you regarding your Find A Grave memorial for Lillian Cannon. Link to memorial: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=116723762

This is a duplication of memorial #112575180. Please delete your memorial to help maintain accuracy in the cemetery here on Findagrave!
Thank you so much
I am deleting the duplicate memorial but mine has a link to her husband. Would you kindly add that same link to your memorial please? Her husband is Find A Grave Memorial# 65819126
