My name is Marie (Hall) Shirley.I was born in Miss. and raised both there and in Ark. My family finally settled in Ark.in 1959.
I found Find-a-Grave quite by accident, and I have been hooked ever since.
I find it very comforting to be able to visit my relatives and friends 'graves' any time I want to without leaving home.
My Mom is Ora Hall and my Dad is Marvin Hall. I also have 3 brothers on F.A.G.: Gene; Jerald;and
I add lots of people to Find-a-Grave...and no, I do not know most of them. I do it in hopes of helping others find info on their loved ones.
NOTE: When sending an e-mail about someone I have entered on F.A.G., please put F.A.G. in the subject line so I won't just delete it. Thanks.

I don't find the one in Hawkins Cemetery. It is a very old cemetery and is not used. Nora Belle Cox Yancy could not have been buried there.
She was buried in Copperas Cemetery in Guy, Faulkner, Arkansas. Here is her obit.
Nora Belle Yancey, 80, of Mouunt Vernon passed away March 14, 2010.
She was born Dec. 23, 1929, to Edward Anderson Cox and Cynthia Ann Baker.
Mrs. Yancey was preceded in death by brothers, George and Les pradlin and Clayton and Leo Cox; sisters, Clyda Johnston and Alice Beaty; and grandson, Brannon Loter.
She is survived by her husband, Forrest Yancey; children, Mark and Dianne Loter, Sharon and Wayne Woody and Karon and Tim McCarthy; grandchildren, Kasey and Brooke Loter, Brieanna and Justin Breeding, Toby and Courtney Loter, Kenneth and Dennis Woody, and Morgan, Grover and Connor McCarthy; and great-grandchildren, Haylee, Lathan, Madison, Tanner, Logan, Reagan, Sawyer, Ally, Anna,McKenna, Brett, Denise and Garrett.
Mrs. Yancey was retired from Baldwin Piano, where she spent many years sharing her love of music.
She was loved by all who knew her.
She has a strong love and dedication to family and will be sorely missed.
Her family finds peace in her journey to heaven.
Viewing was held Monday at Olmstead Funeral Home in Heber Springs.
Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Quitman.
Burial will be at Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy immediately following.
All are welcome to attend.

I have both the Baker and Hawkins records. I have been very sick with a severe liver problem. My ammonia level was twice what it should me and the doctor said I could not live alone anymore so I am living with my son and all my books are at my home. I will get them as soon as possible.

I wanted to tell you that I enjoyed reading and laughing at the stories you put on your brothers Find A Grave pages. I even printed them so I can read them to my husband when he gets home from work. I was surprised when I read your mother's memorial, because I'm from and live in Fayette County, Alabama. Small world!
Thanks for your many contributions to Find A Grave! Virginia

Thank you for honoring my friend Tony Brattin. It means a lot to me.
|Traci's Mom||Traci Fields|
Because of you and other wonderful findagrave friends, Traci now has 5,260 flowers/tokens, and her birthday is a little over a week away. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! We appreciate you all so much.
I'm in awe! To show you more of what Traci was like, I posted the following on her memorial page,
"Traci, my angel, I can see the big grin on your face for all the flowers you're receiving on your memorial page. You're telling me, "Mom, why are you so surprised there are so many good people in this world? You should have known that....." "You're right, sweetheart, I should have known".
Traci was a person of strong faith, and GOD took excellent care of her, and helped her through all her hardships! Her faith never waivered.
GOD, bless them all, and thank you for your wonderful gift of Traci.
We've received an outpouring of so much love for Traci. I will try to get to everyone's site and leave a flower/token for at least one of their loved ones. However, there are so many of you, it will take me a while.
Sharon (Traci's mom)
Hi, I added links to the parents of Ronald Calvin Bunton. Ronald is my uncle (my dad's brother). Thank you for creating a memorial for him.

thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter Traci. She was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.
I appreciate you helping to reach my goal of 5,000 tokens by her birthday, November 20th.
I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.
I am so overwhelmed with all the findagrave friends requesting flowers/tokens for my Traci. Thank you ever so much!
Sharon (Traci's mom)
Happy Halloween, Hope you are doing well.

I have a photo of this grave marker in the Heber Springs Cemetery and other family members mentioned in the obituary. Could it be she is not in the Cross Roads Cemetery? Please visit our web site to see the post. http://arkansasgravestones.org/
