| Bio and Links | | I have been active in genealogy for over 30 years and recently turned professional. My son and I also own The Graveyard Guardians,Inc., a cemetery preservation service in central Indiana. However we do and will travel throughout the Midwest. We also would like to work in the South in the winter. Too cold to work in Indiana in the winter. | |

 | RE: McClure/Swick Cemetery Opps, I wrote before checking! I am just over involved with this cemetery as it is right across the road from where my grfather farmer....and I spent lots of time there when I was young...then the mine bought it all up and the home place is now gone. I realize that just anybody can't go into the cemeteries and do restoration work, that's a good thing. But we have so many here in Knox Co, IN that probably need more than McClure/Swick. We have one that was vandalized a few years back and NOTHING has been done with it. I need to check you :-) out more and see how you decide which ones you work on. Thanks for the answer and have a Happy Easter! | | | Peggy Wilkerson Robbins
 | RE: McClure/Swick Cemetery Who are you and when are you going to do this work? I'd like to see some of it if you don't mind...thanks. Peggy | | | Sherry Salla
 | RE: Calbert Cree No I am not a relative. I beleive every person should be remembered and I saw his obit in the paper. Thought findagrave is a nice place to remember people and help others on the genealogy quest. | | | Rich Ware
 | RE: Calvin and Penninahe Armfield Thank you very much! I took photos of the cleaned up headstones this past July 2011 when we were in Greentown. I also have photos of them over the years beginning in 1986. I really appreciate the effort you went through to clean the stones. Thanks very much for that!
Best wishes for the New Year.

 | RE: Aaron Bennett I think I thanked you but at the risk of thanking you twice (which is a very happy risk!) -- Thanks for finding this stone, cleaning it up and taking the photo. I looked all over the cemetery several years ago while visiting in Indiana and couldn't find it. You are doing awesome work which is appreciated, I am sure, by many people!

 | Aaron Bennett's tombstone You are AWESOME!!! Thank you so much for doing all the work that you did in the Dayton Cemetery.
I live in Washington State. A few years ago I set up camp in the KOA in Crawfordsville and set out to find information on my Bennett and Mitten families. I was in the Frankfort Library trying to find information on the Mittens as well as my ggg grandfather (James Bennett) and his third wife and family. I found a listing from Dayton listing the burials and found their eldest son, Aaron. I drove out to the cemetery walked the whole cemetery and couldn't find Aaron's tombstone. Now I know why, it was buried! I was so happy to see it posted on Find a Grave.
Thanks again.

 | RE: Robert Warren Lorraine - that would make Robert a cousin of mine as well. I am a 9g grandson of Edward Doty (Mayflower).

 | Other Laveys Thought you would say that. Thanks Lorraine! | | | Deborah Hull
 | Cemetery Restoration Shew.... What a lot of work. Don't suppose there were any other Laveys there, were there? It is odd, the dates that are on his stone. Will have to check out the Wabash county Laveys and see if this one belongs to them instead of being my Greatuncle. Thanks again! | | | Deborah Hull
